First, I would like to state that Jake West was a great salesman young and professional and seemed somewhat interested in getting the sale. I liked the car and had no intentions on seeing anything else. I was ready and willing to pay $9500 out the door for this car. Initially my girlfriend and i had to talk about it so i left and returned a few days just to see what financing would be like so that i could try to keep some money in my pocket. This is when it seem like the FINESSE started. So im unemployed due to covid but that's fine i have bank statements, $1600 biweekly from unemployment, a return to work letter for next week, and whatever down-payment they could ask for because i was Initially going to pay for it in full. My credit isnt great. 541 and i have a repo from 10 years ago( when i was 18) so i didnt mind paying a slightly higher interest rate. The salesman Jake came out with a deal from the finance group $440 monthly and $3500 down 48 month lease By my calculations $440×12= $5280 + $3500 = $8780 (price of the car) They legit wanted me to pay for the car in one year and then get 3x financing off of me. I never been so disrespected in my life. So then I'm like im not going for the financing I'll pay $9700 O.T.D then they rebuttled with a $10,700 so im like no $9700 then was offered 10,300 final offer so im like no $9700 then they were like 10k lowest like $300 was too much of a hassle. I countinue to say they however i only spoke with Jake he was the middle man no management interaction. No better deal nothing just yea we need all of the profit. More

Nathan Cal and Corey were absolutely wonderful even though I was not being nice when I first checked in. I had had previous situations with another chevy dealership when I had my other car and I was a though I was not being nice when I first checked in. Daniel Reyes the sales associate at Chevrolet of Homewood was able to work with his manager and me. And I was able to drive off with a new 2020 Chevrolet equinox that was affordable for budget. If anyone is looking for a new affordable vehicle then Chevrolet of Homewood is the place to get a new Chevy. More

When shopping around made mistake calling Homewood Chevy. Customer service was horrible. Was told numerous info. That changed once at the dealer. Drove out not happy at all. Finance guy extremely rude. . Then to come find out. They charged us double the interest rate and double car payment we qualified for for. . We returned the vehicle and was treated extremely rude. Got financed in bigger better car. For half the car note and over half less interest rate. They were very rushing us. Will not be recommending anyone to this dealer. More

Told him of the vehicle I was there see, CASH in pocket BTW. "Oh, we sold that SATURDAY!! Today is Monday!! BUT we have a better one for just a bit more. I said, I don't deal with LIARS!! Honest mechanic I went to the service center because I have been hearing a noise when driving lately. My husband told me the sound was probably the sensor indicating I went to the service center because I have been hearing a noise when driving lately. I told the service manager, Cory Darling the problem and he gave me a quote on how much the brake work would cost. He was straightforward and patient. After the mechanic looked at my brakes, he told Cory they did not look as if they needed the requested work. The mechanic even showed me the brakes and explained the probable source for the sound I heard. I was greatly relieved and as I drove away, I thought about how rare it is to encounter an honest mechanic. I wish I had his name so I could give him a shout out. I will seriously consider Homewood Chevrolet when I am in the market for a new vehicle in the near future. More
