Very disappointed After not being able to reach anyone in the Service department Sat. morning for over 30 min. (between 9:15 & 9:45) , I just drove back from Indiana to After not being able to reach anyone in the Service department Sat. morning for over 30 min. (between 9:15 & 9:45) , I just drove back from Indiana to Homewood. I spoke to Earl, Mike, and then Derek about the indicator light on my dash that would not go off. I asked to leave my car for service, which they probably could not fix until Monday. I asked for a Loaner car because I had to be someplace by 3pm. I have a 2016 Malibu, which I have had for 1 year. They told me they could not give me a loaner until the technician checked it to see if it was under warranty. After waiting 2 hours, they finally told me I could get a loaner. By the time I got to the event, I had missed it, and was out $50. plus hours of waisted time and gas money. I had been a loyal customer there for 14 years, taking my 94 Corvette for service and buying my 2005 Malibu and getting it serviced there for 9 years.I will never buy, lease, or get another car from there again. I will never recommend my friends, family, or coworkers there either. More
Not what I expected! So much better! I do not like buying a car. After 12 years my wife and I needed a new car. I called Chevy of Homewood and spoke with Tina Lonkar. She was friendly, pa I do not like buying a car. After 12 years my wife and I needed a new car. I called Chevy of Homewood and spoke with Tina Lonkar. She was friendly, patient and understanding. She truly cared about my concerns. We went in the following evening. We were greeted by Mike Albright. I thought, "here we go". Unlike a vulture, he was friendly and welcoming. He brought us in and we talked about what we wanted as well as our concerns, doubts, and fears. There was never any pushy uncomfortable situations. We worked out a great deal. While waiting for the finance manager, Kelly Masco came over and kept us company with some great personal stories. Everything went smoothly. Kelly went over everything we needed to know and more. He helped us set-up technical stuff and made the transition easy. We drove away with smiles and for the first time did not feel buyers remorse. More

So i explain fully credits not the greatest but your people said income based is fine.. which i made well over income... so then lonnie brings a piece of paper with a 2014 car on it and asked me to sign.. i said what is that? Mind you i have looked at nooo cars! He said its just to show the finance people.. now i told lonnie from begining i didnt want my credit run.. he said he would just run it to see where im at because then they can use the income aspect.. i say ok.. well that was agreeing to one credit check guess what 10 hard inquries are now on my already crap credit thank you very much. Lonnie shows back up guess what i got you approved for $330 month payment.. im like what are you talking about we havent looked at 1 car not one!! So then he say he need $1500 down! Again on whattttt im trading in a whole vehicle! At this point 2 hrs later only speaking with this man for all about 15 mins in total im livid!!! How can you approve someone or even ask for a downpayment and i havent seen not one car!!!! Then they keep all your paperwork and get an attitued when you ask for your keys!! Never in my life have i been treated with such disreguard! I was very honest and up front with everything! For you all to try and pull this is beyond me! Im approve for an imaginary vehicle for a whole car trade in and $1500 down and ill only pay $330 monthly?! My head is still spining!!! Sooo unprofessional never ever again will i go to this place! I was two seconds away from jumping on a desk and kicking a computer off it and droppin a mic to walk out! I told my father what happened he laughed soooo hard and said someones smoking that good xxxx there to pull that out of their xxxxx! Best Car Buying Experience Ever I've been contemplating on trading my old vechile in for a while now I'm am single mother of one who is working and going to school full time so my ti I've been contemplating on trading my old vechile in for a while now I'm am single mother of one who is working and going to school full time so my time is pretty limited, how every on June 16th 2017 I'm spoke to Tina Lonkar she asked me what my interest were what I was looking for was it a trade in etc. She informed me that I would be set up with an sales Rep name J.B WHOM WAS VERY THROUGHO PATIENT KIND AND GENUINELY HE MADE SURE I WAS ABLE TO GET SOMETHING THAT I COULD AFFORD THROUGH OUT THE PROCESS TINA PERIODICALLY CHECKED IN ON ME MAKING SURE EVERTHING WAS OK MADE SURE I WAS COMFORTABLE AND UNDERSTOOD EVERYTHING J.B EXPLAINED TO ME THEY WHOLE ATMOSPHERE OF CHEVY OF HOMEWOOD WAS FRIENDLY AND HOMELY MY OVER ALL EXPERIENCE WAS OUTSTANDING THE TIME AND DEDICATION EFFORT THAT WAS PUT FORTH TO MAKE SURE MY NEEDS WERE MET I WOULD RECOMMEND CHEVY OF HOMEWOOD TO ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS THANK YOU TINA LONKAR AND J.B More
Typical slimy sales people and poor service Jim was very nice at check in, and Nate was extremely helpful in driving me down the straight as a courtesy while my car was being serviced. However, I was supposed to have my tires rotated and was told that they WERE rotated but they were not. I know this because of the TPMS sensors as well as that I have a leak in one of the tires and the leak is still in the same location as it was when I came in for service. This is in addition to the deception of one of their sales people, Aaron, a few months ago when him and I were talking deals and trade ins. It too bad when a used car salesman lives up to their stereotype. More
