From start to finish Mario Carrillo in Service was hands down the most helpful attentive person I've ever dealt with he was amazing the service at Kia was amazing and he just put me at ease and made me feel down the most helpful attentive person I've ever dealt with he was amazing the service at Kia was amazing and he just put me at ease and made me feel it's okay to leave my car with you all dotted every I crossed every T. This is coming from a person who was a senior account executive for the same company for 20 years I know what it takes to have great customer service provide the correct paperwork and get the best deal for my customer. My car worked fine but I went in for a recall and obviously it took a few days for it to be ready. When I got called that the car was ready for pick up, I was notified that there was a leak going tha obviously it took a few days for it to be ready. When I got called that the car was ready for pick up, I was notified that there was a leak going that would cost me $1,200 to fix. I took it home and my car started smoking and when I opened the hood there was a pretty noticeable leak that was never there. I have video proof of my car before leaving it at the dealership and there was never an issue there. The dealership tampered with my car so I could take it to them again and have it fixed. I tried calling the person who was in contact with me Mario Carillo but he has blocked my number and won’t answer me back. More
I have always had positive experiences IKEA, which is why this visit was disappointing. The advisor assisting me did not get me when I arrived and attempted to charge me for an additional service without ask this visit was disappointing. In the past, my vehicle has always been washed and vacuum as part of the service experience, but was not done during this visit. The lack of communication and attention to customer service was noticeably different from the level of service have I have come to experience from Kia. More

Dropped my car off on a Wednesday afternoon for them to work on it on Thursday. They we’re only performing an ignition recall. Did not hear from anyone all day Thursday. I called them at about 3:00pm and t work on it on Thursday. They we’re only performing an ignition recall. Did not hear from anyone all day Thursday. I called them at about 3:00pm and they were not sure what car was mine or what it was there for and stated they would need to keep the car another day. I asked about getting a loaner car and they said they don’t have any. (I might be wrong, but I thought when getting a recall done and they were not going to get it done the same day, that they are supposed to provide a loaner).So the next morning, I had to have my wife go out of her way to drop me off at work. Right when we pulled into my work at about 7:30am Friday, I get a text from them stating they they stayed late on Thursday to finish my car and it is ready for pick up. (This info would have been good to know before my wife drove me to work). Then when I asked to be picked up, they said they don’t offer shuttle service. I ended up having to call the Service Manager Angel and let him know the situation and he said that because of my bad experience, he would send a driver to pick me up and have my car washed. When I got there, it seemed like the Service Advisor Mario just wanted to get me out of there. No explanation of what they did. No apology for the inconvenience. Just wanted to rush me out. Then when I got to my car it had not been washed and the floor mat and number tag were left in the car for me to dispose of. This was by far my worst experience I have had at any car repair facility. I worked in automotive for about 15 years as a mechanic, service writer and manager. I never would have treated my customers the way I was treated at Kia Chula Vista. More
