Thank you for taking care of my car. Your dealership service is one of the best. I cannot say enough about the dealership from sales to service. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at Kia Chula Vista, specifically the way Manager Angel Flores handled our situation. The biggest issue was the complete lack of communication. Kia pr Kia Chula Vista, specifically the way Manager Angel Flores handled our situation. The biggest issue was the complete lack of communication. Kia previously offered courtesy rides for customers dropping off vehicles for service, but apparently that is no longer available. Had anyone bothered to communicate that change when I scheduled the appointment, I would have simply chosen a different day for service. Instead, my husband was left sitting at the service center, wasting a significant portion of his day because we were never informed of the change. To make matters worse, after the issue was brought to their attention, there was absolutely no effort to make things right. They eventually offered my husband a ride home, but then informed us they would not provide a ride back to pick up the vehicle. How does that make any sense? It felt like the bare minimum was done just to get us out of the service center, with no concern for the inconvenience they created. What was most frustrating was the lack of accountability from management. Rather than acknowledging the poor communication and customer experience, there was no ownership of the problem and no attempt to find a reasonable solution. Good customer service isn’t about never making mistakes—it’s about how you handle them when they happen. Unfortunately, Angel Flores and his team failed in that regard. This experience left such a bad impression that I have no intention of returning to this service department. I would rather drive farther and spend my money with a dealership that values its customers, communicates clearly, and takes pride in providing quality service. Kia Chula Vista has lost a customer due to what could have been a very simple issue to resolve. More
