We had a great experience buying a Jetta Sportwagen from Adam Heymann at Flemington VW. I went out for a first look with my father in tow. Some other manufacturers' dealers alienated me right away by directing all comments to him, even after we explained that I was the one shopping for a new car - but not Adam! He was unfailingly pleasant, helpful, and trustworthy. In the second round, I went out with my husband to do test drives and show him my top picks. We visited a couple different dealers for each car we'd narrowed it down to. All 3 of the local VW dealers we visited were OK - everyone was nice. But, we both felt that Adam was extraordinarily straightforward and we wanted to work with him. It took us about 3 weeks to decide what car we wanted to buy, and throughout that time, Adam remained accessible, responding right away to all of our questions. We ended up having him locate a car and bring it in - something that we were a bit nervous about - but we shouldn't have worried. It was exactly what we wanted, at an exceedingly fair price. A price, I should note, that we arrived at without having to play any of the usual games. My husband and I both love the car - and we would happily recommend Flemington VW to anyone. More

Each was straightforward and I felt as if each of them not only wanted to sell me a car but also wanted to build a long-term relationship that would result in referrals and repeat business. We ended up at a price that beat my online research. I know car dealers always make a profit on the cars they sell (or they would not sell them), yet, as a customer, no-one wants to feel as if they have been taken advantage of. I left the dealership feeling good about not only the car and the purchase price, but the people as well. Jon in particular went the 'extra mile' to see to it I was happy with my purchase even after the official paperwork had been signed. Kudos to Jon! I definitely would recommend this place over Audi dealers in the area. I've experienced the stereotypical game playing that positions the sales staff and the managers against the customer. As customers, we often ignore these games because we are purchasing a car, not the people. If you are going to plop down the money for an Audi, you do not want to feel pressured into making decisions nor feel as if you are being treated poorly. The folks I met at Flemington Audi were very professional. They were not short-sighted. The deal we put together was respectable for both parties.
