Waste of $138 I dropped my vehicle off on Wednesday for a Thursday appointment. I called them on Friday afternoon as I didn't hear from them and was told my car was I dropped my vehicle off on Wednesday for a Thursday appointment. I called them on Friday afternoon as I didn't hear from them and was told my car wasn't assigned to anyone yet. I was upset as I need the car and wasn't offered a loaner (I purchased this car from this dealer) and they told me they would get back to me. I researched the issue with the Camaro online and had an idea of what to ask them to check. When they called me back they told me it was about $1100.00 to replace the radio and the harness for the heat and AC to work again. This made no sense to me as the Heat & AC are blowing cold in some vents and warm in others (online they say to check the divert flap inside the dash that controls the flow of hot or cold air). I told them that I would come and pick the car up in the morning as the parts would take 4 or 5 days to receive. When I showed up at about 10AM they had no idea I was picking it up and the car was still in pieces. Thanks to Duncan he ran into the back and put the car back together in 15 minutes, THANK YOU DUNCAN. I asked if I could talk to the tech as I couldn't understand how the harness was the fix but he was not in today. When the parts came in and they called I asked directly, did the tech check the divert flap like I asked and I was told no????? They asked if I wanted to drop the car off and I said only if you can guarantee me that the harness was the fix for the Heat & AC. I was told NO, its a starting point as the tech feels the harness could be the issue, that right COULD BE!!!!! This is where I realized this service center is just huge volume and no one really cares. When I was picking up the car that Saturday and clearly upset the service manager was in his office, could hear me, could see me, but didn't get out of his chair. Can you imagine and I purchased this car from them. The sales team was great but will never bring my car to them again or buy from them due to the service center. In closing I took the vehicle somewhere else and told them my concerns. The car is fixed and they didn't change the harness...... They stuck a camera wire into the center vents and could see the divert flap was broken on one side (hinge) and that is why I had hot in some vents and cold in the others. It was not a cheap fix and you have to remove the windshield to remove the top of the dash but at least its fixed correctly. More
