I Brought car into the service dept. to have shade screen replaced on my 2015 impala . New screen was damaged on install and I was told the mechanical unit needed to be replaced . Sin to have shade screen replaced on my 2015 impala . New screen was damaged on install and I was told the mechanical unit needed to be replaced . Since replacement I now have excessive wind noise. The wind noise is louder now with the new unit than the original equipment . So much so it’s a real nuisance. I spent $2000.00 to replacement of the shade screen when scope increased . I found out the new unit comes with shade screen already installed? Many times my car was brought in to the service dept. with extended stays to remedy the loud noise . Fixed glass was worked on a few times and after a new gasket was installed on one side and sealant added the loud whistling was reduced . Wind noise still is excessive . I asked to confirm noise dampening pads/ head liner padding were reinstalled on new unit in correct position as the original equipment . verification is required at this time to confirm the noise dampening components are installed and in position as original equipment . We thought the car washing took longer than needed, but there was some kind of weird spots on the paint on the front of the car when I brought it in, and the young man washing the car got about 80% off.
