From beginning to end, working with David (sales I preordered a 2016 Volt on 8/27 and it was delivered by 10/30, which was more rapid than I expected. From beginning to end, working with David (salesman) was a pleasure. I did not interact much with the finance person (Brenda), but everything went smoothly. It was almost as easy as my purchase of a Saturn decades ago. Most people love buying a new car, but I dread it. I've gone so far as to send my brother to dealers, telling him exactly what car I want and exactly what I want to pay and refusing to come to the dealer if he doesn't want to sell at that price. It was a much nicer experience at Flemington. The salesman showed me invoice on the car and options I wanted. I offered to pay MSRP because I thought the difference with invoice wasn't absurd. He immediately gave me a small discount anyway. The document fee seemed high (I wasn't taking out a loan, I arranged for temporary insurance myself) and tiny fees were inaccurate (the Volt has 4 tires, not 5) but David always listened even when I was being unreasonable (I learned later that the Volt is over 3500 lbs so the registration fee was accurate). He was great at keeping me informed throughout the wait time. He decreased the purchase price by both a manufacturer's incentive and a private offer I had found via the Volt forum. I'm actually looking forward to taking the car in for service. In my life, I've become disillusioned with several dealers (including two Toyota dealers and one Honda dealer), but so far I like Flemington Chevrolet. More
