Service department is the worst I've ever experienced. They refused to honor the GM-backed CPO bumper-to-bumper warranty to repair a factory defect. They claim that the defective clip replacement (which c They refused to honor the GM-backed CPO bumper-to-bumper warranty to repair a factory defect. They claim that the defective clip replacement (which causes low headliner retention and subsequent noise around the sunroof; see PIT# 5806A) is not covered under warranty despite GM's official CPO website and refused to provide any proof as to why it wouldn't be covered. GM's own CPO website says the following regarding the CPO B2B warranty: "There is NO deductible and it covers almost every part in your vehicle. See below for the list of exclusions." < NOWHERE in that list does it say a defect introduced at the factory (clips or otherwise) are not covered. > Bottom line -- GM sells prospective CPO customers on peace of mind, yet when I came to this service center to cash out on that peace of mind I was refused. I've owned this car for just over a month and have to deal with an incessant rattle. This is a "luxury" vehicle that I paid a premium for and I have to choose between living with the cheap manufacturing practice OR come out of pocket for $1,200 to fix it? Absurd. All I'm asking is for Ciocca & GMC to make good on their CPO promise and fix a defect introduced at the factory. Shouldn't have to deal with this, but here we are. How this gets handled will go a long way in determining my future purchases... More
