At Flemington Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, our customer’s satisfaction is paramount. We are in the business of building long-term relationships, so when our clients have concerns we address them immediately. We do apologize for the delay in contacting you regarding the cargo cover for the pre-owned Ford you purchased from us as it was not coming from our internal parts department. Since I was copied on Bryan’s email to you on July7th informing you of the plates and parts order, I am not sure why you did not receive it as well. Your response to my email to you several days later told us you would be stopping in to pick up your plates, so we postponed mailing them so we could personally put them on your vehicle. When you didn’t come in, I left two messages on your phone this week trying to confirm you were coming, before putting them in the overnight mail. If you would like to discuss this further, I look forward to the opportunity – Bill Tompkins, General Manager, 908-788-5858.

Bill if you had taken the time to read my email on 7/24, I explained I was coming in to pick up the plates because the temporary plates were expiring the next day and I could no longer wait for them! You had 30 days to send them out. Since there was never any acknolwdgement regarding sending me the plates I was forced to accept I was being ignored regarding this issue. Your calls this week are only as a result of the negative review left or I would never have heard from you. As for the cargo cover, you said in your email of 7/24 “ The cargo cover is on order at our Ford store parts department, and should be available on Friday(or Monday at the latest). We will let you when it arrives.” I have yet to hear from anyone regarding the status, that was 3 weeks ago. My review stands and your subsequent reply to my review only confirms the lack of actual customer service once the sale is finalized.

I apologized in our previous response, and I apologize again for the breakdown in communication, primarily from our end. We have a Hard Top tool kit for your Wrangler, and a cargo cover for your Ford. I would also be happy to reimburse you for the cost of fuel to pick up your plates. Mr. Tompkins Thank you for your acknowledgement and apology. That’s all I wanted. As a customer purchasing 2 vehicles from the dealership, it’s is nice to feel customer service is alive and well after the sale. It was never about the time and expense to pick up the plates, rather just feeling ignored regarding the process. It’s nice to know that items are available, If they can be sent to my home to save a trip, that would be great, if not I understand and will pick up when I’m in the area. Thanks again for your reply
