I was ready to purchase a vehicle on November 3rd at a Jeep dealership near home that was advertising a Grand Cherokee L with all of the features I wanted, and had done a test drive and begun the process Jeep dealership near home that was advertising a Grand Cherokee L with all of the features I wanted, and had done a test drive and begun the process of the financial application when I was told an additional $5k was being tacked on by the dealership due to supply chain issues and difficulty getting new vehicles from the manufacturer. I walked out because even though my last Jeep had just been totaled and I desperately needed a car, I didn’t have an extra $5K to spend and felt that the approach of springing it on me only after I’d been sold on the vehicle was underhanded. My husband mentioned that Flemington Jeep had a sign indicating that they didn’t do those sorts of markups. I reached out to the online sales team and Diana worked with Andrew, the sales manager, to find the vehicle I wanted even though they didn’t have it on the lot. Flemington made a trade with another NJ dealership quickly to ensure I would qualify for incentives, and on the 5th, I was driving home in my dream car. The process couldn’t have been smoother, and once the car was secured, Andrew was extremely helpful in detailing the many features of my model. The finance office was thorough in explaining all of the details, and I walked away feeling that I had been treated well and given a fair deal on a quality vehicle. What more could you possibly ask for in buying a new car? More
