I had a 3-year lease ready to expire on 02/01/2020. Yes, I waited till the very last day of the month to make a decision. I was researching a number of different brand name vehicles. I was not disappointed I waited till the very last day of the month to make a decision. I was researching a number of different brand name vehicles. I was not disappointed about being nervous about the whole car buying thing again! Vehicles were the lot, but “not” on the lot if you know what I mean; Bait and switch vehicles; Ridiculous prices with staggering down monies, etc. But then I was told about a friend who was leasing his second vehicle from Ditschman/Flemington Ford. Being gun shy already, I tried to do as much upfront work as possible without actually going to the dealership. My initial contact was with Jackie Nawrocki of the Internet department. She was delightful, very helpful and pleasant. She arranged to have Michael Barone be my Client Advisor. I thought this was a unique title as opposed to just a “Salesperson”. But Mike, and team, turned out to be much more than a “Salespersons”. From the very first time we spoke until the final deal, neither Mike, nor anyone at the dealership, made me feel uncomfortable or pressured. Their focus was to place me into a vehicle that I felt would fit my needs and at a fair price. We went back and forth on different vehicles and prices with me thinking it is going to get ugly, but it NEVER did. Mike kept going back between myself and his Manager, Chris Messina. NOTE: Chris like Mike, was very professional and personable. I thought they would want to throw me out, but they never did lol. Mike, and Chris, kept brainstorming to get me the right vehicle. Finally, it was time to meet with Chris Callahan, Business Manager (The Finance Guy! Lol)...another fine gentleman and professional. By the time I met with Chris, you would think he had all of my paperwork done a week before I even arrived! He covered all areas of finance in great detail. It was 1,2,3 and we were done. I know this may sound a little “too sweet”, but I have been around the block on car deals..many times, but truly none as pleasurable as this. Finally, again I cannot say enough good things about Mike Barone, a very sharp, knowledgeable and kind young man. A real pleasure to know him. Thank you again for everything. Oh by the way, I finalized the deal on a 2019 Ford Ranger Lariat...beyond outstanding vehicle! There were many “professional” skeptics about the resurrected Ford Ranger vs the competition.
