I would like to share my positive experience at Ditschman Flemington Ford. I had been interested in purchasing a new Ford so that I could give my 6 year old Taurus to my daughter for college. We search Flemington Ford. I had been interested in purchasing a new Ford so that I could give my 6 year old Taurus to my daughter for college. We searched inventories online and went to several local dealerships to look at inventory. Most dealers had very limited cars available on the lot, especially dealerships that were not charging over MSRP and other markups over the sticker price. We were particularly interested in the Escape Plug-in hybrid. This interest was due to several factors including the spike in gas prices, the nearly 40 mile range on the battery, the “backup gas engine” to eliminate range anxiety, and the $6843 federal tax credit based on its battery size. Unfortunately, the plug-in hybrid model seemed almost non-existent in the area. I had been in contact with Aly Schulman, the Internet Manager at Ditschman Flemington Ford, regarding Escape availability, but the single Plug-in Hybrid available at Flemington Ford was reserved and on hold. After about a week of searching and almost giving up, I received notification from Aly and Chris Messina, Sales Manager, that the previously reserved car had become available. My wife and I went to the dealership that same day for a test drive with client advisor Mike Barone. Mike demonstrated the features of the car during the test drive and took all of the necessary time to help answer all of our questions on the Escape. We followed up with Mike by phone and email, and he provided additional details on our options. A primary factor in our decision was that I felt that Mike was straight-forward, and not just telling me what I wanted to hear. Once we decided that we wanted to purchase the Escape the financial transaction was quick and easy. We are entirely satisfied with our purchase and love driving the new Escape. This is our third new car from Flemington Ford, and we have been pleased with the service that they have provided. Thanks Mike, Aly and Chris! More
