Deceptive used car sales tactics Being from out of state I trusted that what the used car salesman told me was the truth. I took his word that the truck I was interest in was clean Being from out of state I trusted that what the used car salesman told me was the truth. I took his word that the truck I was interest in was clean and without rust. He even put a very nice video together to show me the condition of the truck. The video conveniently missed the obvious rust spots. I put down a $500 non-refundable deposit according to the video and what I was told over the phone. After driving 3.5 hours to the dealership on a Sunday I was able to lay my eyes on the vehicle myself and noticed the rust holes in the rocker panel and the rust bubbling up on the box of the truck. I asked since there was not full disclosure of the truck's condition whether or not money could be taken off of the truck. The salesman told me not on Sunday. In the end the salesman told me there was nothing he could do for me because it was sold as is. The worst customer relations I've ever been exposed to. I hope whoever reads this takes their business elsewhere. More

Decided to make the hour and a half drive over to City Ford to test drive the car. What a great decision that was. John was great and is the kind of salesman that is easy to deal with. In fact the whole team we dealt with, from Aaron (sales manager), and Brian in financial were a pleasure during our buying experience. We would not hesitate to make that drive again in the future or to send friends to City Ford. More
