A complete waste of time and money. I will never buy a Kia again. I drove 45 minutes to drop my car off after reporting an oil consumption issue at 97,911 miles — clearly within warrant I will never buy a Kia again. I drove 45 minutes to drop my car off after reporting an oil consumption issue at 97,911 miles — clearly within warranty. Instead of resolving it, the dealership dismissed the concern, told me I’d need to come back after driving another 1,000 miles, which would intentionally push the vehicle over 100,000 miles and void my powertrain warranty. Now I’m stuck with a $60,000 SUV and a failing engine — despite bringing this issue up early, following protocol, and trusting the Kia warranty we paid extra to upgrade. I’ve spoken with Kia Corporate, who told me they wouldn’t help unless the engine seizes. Apparently, I'm expected to pay out of pocket for a problem that should have been resolved under warranty. This experience has been dishonest, frustrating, and completely disheartening. I feel my family has been misled and taken advantage of. We chose Kia in good faith — and were scammed. I will not recommend Kia to anyone and will share my experience publicly to help others avoid what we went through. More
