Mr. Scott Zalibra (Service Advisor) is an amazing example of service delivery at its best. I bought my stick-shift ("manual transmission") Camry a couple of decades ago at this Claremont Toyota Dealership. of service delivery at its best. Mr. Zalibra became my # 1 go-to guy when our paths crossed about ten years ago at this Service Department -- and never once has he let me down. A couple of weeks ago as my old Camry rolled in for a scheduled maintenance check, one of the fellows spotted me and asked, "Are you here to see Scott?" Well, yes, sort of. Actually, "my Camry is here to see him" is how I responded. After so many years of being a loyal customer at this Claremont Service Department, I guess it's no surprise to have the fellows step aside whenever my silver Camry rolls in like an ancient Roman chariot to be checked out by Mr. Zalibra. Mr. Scott Zalibra has superb problem-solving skills and the patience of a saint. His integrity, grit, clear communication skills, and emotional intelligence is why I trust his judgment. Knowing him for ten years in this professional capacity doesn't hurt either. Incidentally, a couple of weeks ago as I began chatting with a handful of customers to pass the time, an older woman who was about to purchase a pre-owned vehicle approached me and asked about my experiences in the Service Department. I told her the truth. Mr. Scott Zalibra is my # 1 go-to guy. Honestly, the other fellows are fine, too. Here is some good advice: Find someone who works well with you to meet the maintenance needs of your car, and stick with that advisor. Loyalty to your advisor increases their loyalty to you. Respect goes both ways. More
