A very expensive trip to the BMW shop I had the service adviser Ron McCarty tell me that the shop told him that I needed new front end parts, for the front axles and assemblies and joints I had the service adviser Ron McCarty tell me that the shop told him that I needed new front end parts, for the front axles and assemblies and joints and boots and tie rods for the front half of my all-wheel drive, and also that my twin turbo oil lines were leaking, and none of that could be repaired because sealed lube parts were unsealed and compromised, so had to replace. Also new oil pan gasket and a couple other things that could be done while so many parts were removed. Also recommended new rear tires but declined those. OK, the car is 7 years old with 113,000 miles, and I intend to keep it quite a bit longer, so I paid the $11,382, which is more than the trade-in value, but I do want to keep it and needed to be done. I was given a loaner of a 2019 X3 at no extra charge for the week that the repairs took, and I appreciated that. I know both big jobs were 20+ labor jobs each, but I was still stunned it took that much money to fix it. More
Great service I had a recall on my BMW and I had to come to bowling green to get the two parts replaced. I will definitely return to get my car fixed however with anything done to my car it is expensive to get work done on a BMW, keep that in mind when buying one! More
