The sales person Ronnie Tyler was professional found the model I wanted and made it affordable . He took the time to explain the functions of the vehicle , pared the phones as well . WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! READ THIS REVIEW IN ITS ENTIRETY! My son and I both purchased cars from them at the beginning of December. We are not from Columbia. I live 40 miles away and he is stationed 3 hrs. awa My son and I both purchased cars from them at the beginning of December. We are not from Columbia. I live 40 miles away and he is stationed 3 hrs. away. Initially the sales experience was great. We liked the Salesman/Lincoln Brand Manager, Mack Spain, and the Finance Manager, Jarrah "JJ" Jordan. HOWEVER, once we left the lot with our cars it turned into a nightmare that is still ongoing...TWO MONTHS LATER!!! We both had temporary tags through 1-19-16; also, the date my sons first payment was due. I just received my tag five days ago. My son has yet to receive his tag or registration and it is now TWELVE days after the expiration date of his temporary tag. THIS is where the story gets ludicrous. I have been calling since 1-16-16 and was told, at first, they would over night new temp. tags (WHICH IS ILLEGAL), but that never happened, anyway. I was bounced back and forth from sales to finance, but finally got the only helpful person there and, of course, I can't remember her name, but she told me the VIN # on my sons car was mixed up with another and they knew this three weeks prior to this call, but WE WERE NEVER TOLD. She said he would need a rental car until it was cleared up. She said someone would call me back ASAP. THAT NEVER HAPPENED. I left countless messages/voicemails for JJ and Mack, begging someone to just tell me what's going on, but my messages and questions went unanswered. Meanwhile, my sons first payment was due on the 19th, but he cannot pay until the VIN is corrected. Did I mention he is also a Marine who is stationed three hours away? Marine bases have stringent rules regarding tags and registration so this has posed a serious problem for my son. I finally demanded a manager and was connected to William, who assured me he would get to the bottom of everything and call me later that afternoon. THAT NEVER HAPPENED. I called Ford Customer Service and was told they couldn't help because the dealership is privately owned, but he called them to try to scare them into doing their job. WILLIAM the "Manager" told him it was up to finance to help me and they weren't there and he did not have keys to get into their office. (Really, William?) WILLIAM the "Manager" did call me 10 min later and said my son needed a rental car and asked me to put it on MY CREDIT CARD AND THEY WOULD REIMBURSE ME LATER!!! I of course said no, they can't even return a call, and he said I would have to wait until the next week and he'd call me that Monday with the details. THAT NEVER HAPPENED. Thankfully, my friend at the Federal Prosecutors Office told me who to contact to report this insanely unprofessional dealership. So, I have now turned it over to them for investigation. I pray no one has to go through what we have. This has been an insane and exhausting nightmare. Go to another dealership. I beg of you. More

Horrible Experience Horrible experience. I would highly suggest not doing business with Classic Ford or Classic Ford Service Center. I have owned 6 Ford trucks in the pas Horrible experience. I would highly suggest not doing business with Classic Ford or Classic Ford Service Center. I have owned 6 Ford trucks in the past and have always been a loyal Ford customer. Not only has this experience with this dealership been stressful and costly but I will sell this truck asap and will NEVER own a Ford again. This truck has been a problem since day one and how I was treated by Classic Ford and their service department was a nightmare. Buying my truck was a very smooth and easy process with them and was set up to have all of my future oil changes and tire changes done with the dealerships service department. I Bought my F-250 Diesel and was promised by the “GM” that they had the best diesel specialist in South Carolina and by me doing business with them and their service department meant I would be taken care of. Little did I know, I would be spending most of my year (5 trips with truck in the shop for over a day or more each time) and having to make appointments and dropping my truck off to have constant work done to fix issues with that “diesel specialist.” I have owned Diesels and know that they can be difficult but the issues I had were with the service department not just the issues with the truck. I was treated by both the service department and then the “service manager” once I asked for help. I was treated like the least of his problems and was told “We do tons of business with tons of diesels and I should take my truck to a different service department since I wasn’t happy with the way I was treated.” HA- That’s not what I was told when I bought the truck. I had on several occasions to pay out of pocket for a rental car because not only would my truck be in the shop for long unforeseen time periods with no returned phone calls or any status updates on my truck. The last straw was me dropping my truck off at the planned apt time of 9:00am for a checkup on once again something wrong with it and I was supposed to get a call that day to let me know what they had found. 6:00pm no call and when I called them they had no information and would have someone look into this and get back to me(a line I had heard on the regular dealing with them). I finally had to go up there and they had at that time changed the oil and rotated the tire and handed me a bill for $150.00.. I then had to explain that 1st thats not what the truck was up here for and second I have a maintenance plan with Classic and even tho they would try and bill me EVERTIME I went up there, that he must be mistaken. I hope this review helps anyone who has either had a similar experience or if you are looking to purchase a new or used Ford Diesel Truck from Classic Ford...Don’t More

Online rep claimed they had one coming in and I scheduled an ap Contacted Classic Ford online looking for a very specific 2016 Ford Explorer Platinum. Online rep claimed they had one coming in and I scheduled an appointment to see the vehicle. They had one in stock but it was a six passenger and not a seven as my written request for quote specified. After wasting hours of my time sales person claimed they could get the car I wanted within three days if I put down a deposit. I did this and added the terms that new vehicle could not have more than 25 miles as I did not want a dealer demo that might have been abused. I returned in four days and again spent hours only to find that they did NOT have the vehicle and the one they could find had over 400 miles of demo. Again they wasted my time and tried used car sales tactics to sell me a car I did not want. Finally as they could not deliver they refunded my deposit. My suggestion is find another dealer, I purchased my 2016 Ford Explorer Platinum the following weekend and was in and out of the dealership in two hours. I spent over 6 hours at Classic Ford watching Classic bait and switch, and other underhanded dealer tactics. More

Saturday 10/17/2015, I put money down on a vehicle that was coming from another dealership. I was initially told it would be here by 1630 hrs. then I was told the drivers couldn't make it and it would be here Monday. Monday 10/19/15 AM I was told the vehicle was sold Saturday evening. I went to the dealership Tuesday and spoke with the General Manager who was very apologetic and advised they would make things right. I selected another vehicle from their website, again was at another dealership. I was promised it would be here this evening but again 7 hours later the vehicle was not here. Promises have been made and not kept. I have tried to be patient through out the lack of communication between the dealerships, and feel the customer is not in their best interest. This ordeal has been both emotionally and mentally fatiguing as well as physically fatiguing having to sit and wait for hours with no resolution. More

Even though a new Ford dealership is being built closet to my home, I will continue to have my car serviced at Classic because I like the folks who work there. More
