Would you recommend this dealership? Based on the sales experience, yes, but with a caveat or two. I have bought several automobiles using the dealer's internet sales department and this was definitely not experience, yes, but with a caveat or two. I have bought several automobiles using the dealer's internet sales department and this was definitely not an internet sales experience. The internet sales person quoted me a reasonable price. I had an appointment Friday evening to see the internet sales associate. Something came up and I had to cancel. I called on Saturday morning to the dealership and was informed that it didn't matter if the internet sales rep was on site or not; that an on-the-lot rep would take over. I showed up around 1:00 pm and asked to look at the vehicle that I had an internet price quote on. Test drove the vehicle and was ready to trade my vehicle in and make the purchase. From that point until 4 hours later, I allowed myself to be drawn into a typical, high-pressure, high overhead, car sales experience. My own fault for not being more assertive. What was less than satisfactory about the experience?: 1) I got a lower price on my trade than 3 separate internet sources quoted using a very conservative condition basis; 2) Would like to have had the option to waive the Millenium interior insurance policy (came up very late in the negotiation and no option to waive the cost); and 3) $295 closing cost (never heard of a closing cost on a car sale). What went well? Very friendly and courteous staff. Andrew Moore is a hard working and knowledgeable salesman. A follow-up phone call with the Sales Mgr. and service department regarding the details of my negotiated tow-package installation (future work) got me exactly the information I was looking for and satisfied me that I had not over-paid for the option. When it was all said and done, I got a great truck at a reasonably fair price (other than the 2 previously mentioned add-ons). More

The entire team worked really hard to get us the vehicle that we really wanted at the price we could afford. We can't say anything negative about our experience. We arrived to continue the process of evaluating cars for my first car purchase. I had an interest in Camaro and Mustang and was going to try driving a Challenger as well. Daryl Stout our salesman was very my first car purchase. I had an interest in Camaro and Mustang and was going to try driving a Challenger as well. Daryl Stout our salesman was very much into Mustangs and was a storehouse of information. We discussed many features of the available mustangs and the quality of Ford products and he owned a mustang as well. We even discussed the quality and corporate positives over the last few years, Ford has done very well and proven to be a solid company. We test drove very nice White premium package Mustang with all the SYNC features and a V6 engine. After driving it I was really impressed, I found that the driver visability aand comfort were and features were just to my liking. My parents worked with Viet Lu to determine the affordability and between Daryl and Viet we were able to get a great deal. 0.0% financing and good payment terms. I left with a great new car and a full tank of gas and my parents left with good feeling of price, safety and good gas milage; as well as a happy daughter in a good looking car. More
Andrew went above the call of duty to make sure I received the car that I wanted. He even had to get someone to work overtime to go pick up my car from Georgia so I would drive away in it over the w received the car that I wanted. I am now the VERY proud owner of a new 2012 Mustang solely because of the awesome guys at Classic Ford of Columbia. They took the time and put in the effort to make sure I was happy and totally comfort solely because of the awesome guys at Classic Ford of Columbia. I had went on the Internet and found the 2012 F150 I was interested in. I finally got in touch with a salesman and I ask him about the F150 I was attempting to purchase. When I arrived the salesman Roger Canty met with me and we looked at the vehicle I was interested in. We chatted quite a bit about our past because we are both Military Retired. I gave him the key to my 2011 F250 4X4 Lariet Crewcab loaded with options to get a trade in value. I had already gotten the value of my trade off the internet so I knew what I had to work with. I watched them from his office looking over my trade. They never drove the vehicle at all. They only took pictures, opened the door to see my last oil change date. Never even opened the hood. They came with me with a trade allowance of $30,000.00. The vehicle only has 11400 miles on it and was worth around $37000.00 on a trade. I told Roger and showed him the value of my vehicle I had got off the internet. I told him I would trade for $37,000.00. He ask me if he could get that could he earn my business and I replied yes. I am a disabled Veteran and can purchase a new vehicle at the X-Plan price that is on the invoice. It was around $40600.00 or so. I then ask about the incentives Ford has going at this time and he ask me what they were so I had to tell them what the incentives were at this time. That would have put a price of the new vehicle at around $38,600.00. Later a Sales manager showed up and was trying to show me some papers of what my truck was being allowed on a trade. I told him I was not interested in the paper and I would only take $37000.00 for my trade and that was the bottom line. I already had my own financing approved which they were not to happy about. I told him he was not getting my truck for $30,000.00 and if he couldn't just give me my keys and I would take my business elseware. They did and I left their so upset that I left my Resgisration and insurance papers. That was my worst experience trying to trade and purchase a vehicle in my life. They were only trying to still my trade and make up the price I could have gotten the new one for on the X-Plan price. They didn't even try to make me another counter offer so I new then they were only trying to get my trade and make up the money I would have gotten the truck under the X-Plan price.I never even saw the maintenance. Thae sales managers response was that he couldn't put that much money in a trade and it set for 6 Months. I told him that truck would sell by weeks end and no later that Months end and he new it.Not a Dealership to try and trade a vehicle. More
Josh and I had history from a previous attempt at putting me in a vehicle and the financing couldn't be worked out. Never the less, I felt like the entire team and especially Josh were listening to my need me in a vehicle and the financing couldn't be worked out. Never the less, I felt like the entire team and especially Josh were listening to my needs and did there very best at trying to deliver what I asked. When I felt like I was ready to trade cars I went back to Josh for his help. He couldn't be nicer. He really listens to your concerns and does his best to address them. It will be awhile before I need a car dealership again but I will definitely go back to Josh and Classic Ford of Columbia when I am ready to trade again. The employee attitude at Classic Ford is delightful. Quite honestly, going through a car trade is one of my least favorite things to do but the team stays informative and sees you through the process with the least amount of hassle possible.
