My experience with Classic Ford Lincoln of Columbia has been extremely frustrating and I am very unhappy with my experience. Despite numerous phone calls to both the salesman and manager I am still waiting been extremely frustrating and I am very unhappy with my experience. Despite numerous phone calls to both the salesman and manager I am still waiting for the dealership to follow through on its promises. For example, I was told that an employee was going to stop by one day and put the emblem on my car and fix my license plate (that was incorrectly put on my car) at purchase. No one ever came by. In addition, I was told by a manager prior to purchasing the vehicle that the car had new tires. After I purchased the car I received a copy of the 60K mile maintenance that was done while the car was still at the dealership and it was noted the car needed new tires - this information was withheld from me. More
Gavin was a very friendly, informative and knowledge sales rep. There was no pressure on his part which I greatly appreciated. He appeared to be honest, eager to please and reliable. Walked onto car lot, to look at a fiesta. Larry came right up to us and was very helpful and had answers to all questions that we had. I recently purchased a new Ford Explorer Sports Trac from Classic Ford of Columbia. Larry Johnson who sold me the car was easy to work with and was able to get me the price I wanted on my new Ford Explored S Classic Ford of Columbia. I was very pleased with the service provided. Brad was very accommodating in determining what I was looking for and working to accomplish that. The entire staff was very courteous and accommodating from the managers in sales and finance to the other agents. As a team, they truly worked well together. What is usually an extremely stressful and drawn out affair was made much easier by everyone's friendliness. (I especially liked the gong! It made me feel my goal had been accomplished with a great flourish.) I will definitely be back in the future and will refer them to anyone else in need of assistance. Once again, let me say what a wonderful job Brad did throughout the entire process. More
My husband and I purchased a '99 Jeep Wrangler from this dealorship. We expected repairs due to it being used. Classic Ford staff told us it was in good condition and they ran the "required checks" on the v dealorship. We expected repairs due to it being used. Conveniently, a couple of days after the 30 day warranty expired, there were issues with the Jeep. Again, we expected minor repairs, not electrical. The vehicle had major electrical damages that will cost us $1000+. It would take multiple upon multiple calls throughout the weeks to contact Larry Johnson and Drew Bauer. We would leave messages and maybe get a call back. For intance, Drew told my husband he would call us on Friday. No call was received. We called him again on the next day and he clearly forgot about calling us. We would ask him about our vehicle and if it is reparied, when can we pick up and so forth. He would have no idea. Larry Johnson was not much better. My husband and I both have jobs and we need two cars. They wouldn't even let us have a loaner during this trial. Then we were told the Jeep would be ready Monday. We show-up to pick-up our Jeep and it's not ready. It won't be ready until next Friday. They couldn't call us to tell us this? The dealorship is a good 20-30 minute drive from our home. So, we wasted time and money due to poor communication from Classic Ford. The only postive comment I can make is that they did aid in keeping the cost down on repairs to the vehicle. That is all. I am active duty military and I assumed they would understand the need for a reliable used vehicle. Military stay away from this dealership! They don't care about our service. My family and I wanted a honest sale, not the run-around. In Texas, this vehicle is called a lemon. More
My overall experience was great at the dealership. Karl was my salesperson and he was the most friendliest salesperson ive ever dealt with. While I waited he kept me company and talked to me and built a gr was my salesperson and he was the most friendliest salesperson ive ever dealt with. For the first time, I feel like I made a great purchase on a car and didn't feel p received at this dealership. Everyone was professional and kind. Our overall experience with the people that worked with us at Classic Ford was a very positive one. Each individual was courteous, friendly, and able to answer specific questions about the truck we were in us at Classic Ford was a very positive one. Astaria has worked with us on line for several weeks as we narrowed down our specific model and was always positive and good about getting back to us with requested information without making us feel pressured in any way. Our only complaint isn't about a specific person, but, the procedure that caused us to sit and wait for one and a half hours from the time we completed the paperwork with the salesman to the time we were able to sit down in front of your finance person. We needed to pay our deposit and be on our way. We were not arranging any financing. I was literally walking to the door to leave your dealership when a finance person was finally available! This was COMPLETELY unacceptable as far as we are concerned. Please note that when we met with Tony he was polite and helpful like all the other members. Whatever procedure, or lack there of, that caused this extensive wait should be addressed immediately. More
