Classic Toyota

My wife and I have been going to dealerships for 45 years ( Toyota now, and Ford years ago) and anyone can sell you a car, but after you take it home we've found generally getting any problems resolved is no ( Toyota now, and Ford years ago) and anyone can sell you a car, but after you take it home we've found generally getting any problems resolved is not always easy. A lot of times I've had trouble getting any problems taken care of once the deal is done. Not the case this time at Toyota Mentor and having salesman Billy Ashmore as my sales person. He was polite, respectful, and very thorough in every aspect of the transaction of our new Toyota Adventure. I’ve been buying from Classic for 20+ years ( at another dealership ) and never had a salesman that was better! He listened when I spoke, was not pushy, and took care of every detail of the transaction! I appreciate his kind demeanor, desire to please, and absolute professionalism. He was the first and only salesperson that ever gave me his cell phone number not just for during the transaction ( which took 8 months due to the new car shortage ) but after I took the car home. But the real test came several days later when I discovered some minor damage that was caused in an aftermarket add-on done by the dealership. I called Billy and half expected to be blown off to another department ( as I've had happen before at another Toyota dealership ), Billy was sincerely upset for me that this happened and asked me to bring the car in and they would take care of it immediately. Billy set me up with a loaner and several days later he said it was ready and everything was taken care of. I couldn't be happier with this dealership and Billy as my salesperson, this was the first time I really enjoyed purchasing a new car and felt very fairly treated by the salesperson and that he would be there if I had any more issues. More
