While my wife was busy with the grandkids, I decided to see if they had any used To My wife and I were visiting our daughter and her family in Mentor. While my wife was busy with the grandkids, I decided to see if they had any used Toyota Avalons on the lot at Mentor's Classic Toyota Dealership. We have been driving a 2002 Avalon for 16 years that has over 200K miles. We were looking for recently manufactured, low mileage, used Avalons. They had two and I took one for a test drive with my son-in-law and sales consultant, Lissandra Mikolajski. While we drove Lissandra pointed out different amenities of the car. We returned to Classic and we were introduced to the Used Car manager, and I told him we were interested, but had some shopping to do before we would make a purchase. After returning to my daughter's house my wife and I returned to Classic so my wife could see the car also. Since it was close to closing time, we thought we'd look elsewhere to see what other Toyota dealerships closer to home, south of Akron, had so we could get an idea relative to what dealerships were asking for the different years of production for the different Avalon models. After spending the next few days test driving other dealers' Avalons, we decided to chat online to get an idea about an asking price. After getting what we thought was a reasonable, lowered price from Philip McGrath, on the Classic internet team, we decided to drive an hour back to Mentor to again test drive that one Avalon with Lissandra, and decided that was our choice. Liassandra introduced us to Rick Demore to finance the vehicle, but we thought we had everything in order to finance with our credit union. Our credit union and my wife and I unfortunately weren't on the same page, so Classic and Rick were ready to step up and get things wrapped up so we didn't have to make another hour long drive up to Mentor to close the deal. We drove both cars home, happy to have completed our purchase! It was a pleasure doing business with Classic Toyota Scion. More
