Terrible experience overall. Brought a company truck in for service due to the check engine light being on. Dealer advised that they would be performing the necessary repairs under warranty, and recommended a laundry list of maintenance work to be done. We opted to have them perform the necessary repairs for the check engine light issue. We paid $440 total for the repairs. Truck didn’t even make it back to our yard before the check engine light came back on. We decided to turn back around and drop it back off at the dealership. Shortly after dropping the truck off again, we receive a call from the service advisor. He advised us that PER the technician, everything was working as designed. He claimed that we needed to get the additional maintenance work completed to resolve the check engine light issue. This was never stated in the original diagnostic/estimate. They were basically washing their hands with the situation. I attempted to escalate the situation by trying to contact the service manager, but was unsuccessful. We ended up picking the truck back up a few days later, as no attempt was made to resolve the situation. As I was driving back to our yard, the truck ended up cutting out completely in the middle of a busy highway! We ended up getting it towed back to our yard. Due to this bad experience, we will be taking our fleet business elsewhere. More

⭐ 1 Star — Avoid Dallas Dodge for Service I brought my 2023 Chrysler Pacifica (gas, non-hybrid) to Dallas Dodge for battery drain and electrical issues — problems these vans are well-known for. The vehicle is barely two years old with around 40K miles, and I purchased a Mopar Maximum Care extended warranty that specifically covers electrical and charging-related components. After describing the issue and mentioning that the batteries wouldn’t hold a charge, I was told both were “bad” and that the only way to diagnose anything further was for me to pay $1,250 to replace both batteries first. The same Mopar batteries cost roughly $400 total and are easily accessible under the hood. When I questioned this and explained the warranty should apply, I was told “batteries are wear items,” and offered no real diagnostic work beyond a basic battery test. When I declined the battery replacement and asked to take the vehicle back for warranty evaluation elsewhere, they then added a $200 “diagnostic fee” for that quick battery check. The manager even stated, “We’re in the business to make money.” That summed up the experience. This is a near-new vehicle, under warranty, with a clear electrical issue — and I was offered no help, no explanation, and a large bill instead. Avoid this service department. More
I took my car in for a repair that we believed would be under the purchased warranty. When I picked it up, I was charged for the repair and told it wasn’t covered. After two messages I was assured would be placed in his desk, a Facebook review which received a canned reply signed by the service manager, and 2 voicemails left directly on his voicemail, I still have received no response with the reason for the denial of a repair the warranty company said should be covered.
