WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE. THIS USED TO BE THE PLACE TO GO TO BUY A NEW FORD OR TO GET SERVICE. WELL THAT HAS CHANGED. I BOUGHT NUMEROUS F350 DUALLY TRUCKS FROM DON DAVIS FORD OVER THE PAST 15 YEARS OR SO. I TO BUY A NEW FORD OR TO GET SERVICE. WELL THAT HAS CHANGED. I BOUGHT NUMEROUS F350 DUALLY TRUCKS FROM DON DAVIS FORD OVER THE PAST 15 YEARS OR SO. I HAD GOOD SERVICE ON ALL OF THESE TRUCKS. IN 2019 I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW F450. SUPER NICE TRUCK. THIS IS WHEN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT WAS EXPOSED FOR COMPLETE INCOMPETENCE! OIL CHANGES THEY CAN HANDLE. BUT BALANCING TIRES THAT ARE ON 19.5 WHEELS. THEY CANT DO THIS TASK....THEY DON'T HAVE THE EQUIPMENT......THEY FOUND THAT OUT TRYING TO BALANCE MY TIRES. WHAT A MESS THIS WAS.....THEY HAD TO SEND MY TRUCK OUT TO A TIRE SHOP TO GET RIGHT. OUT OF MY TRUCK FOR 2 DAYS. BEFORE THEY SENT IT OVER TO TIRE SHOP.......TECHNICIANS AT DON DAVIS FORD HAD BEEN IN AND OUT OF MY TRUCK. MY GOODNESS YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE INSIDE OF MY TRUCK......GREASE ALL OVER SEATS , HEADLINER, DOORS, IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE! SERVICE MANAGER AT THE TIME( THIS GUY GAVE A xxxx) PAID FOR A COMPLETE DETAIL OF THE INSIDE OF MY TRUCK AT A CAR DETAILER. SO, NOW DON DAVIS WANTS TO CHARGE ME $250 TO SEND OUT MY TRUCK TO TIRE SHOP EACH TIME I WANT TIRES BALANCED. WHAT FOOLS! I CAN GET THIS DONE FOR $100 AT THE SAME PLACE IF I TAKE IT. SO, HERE IS MY LAST EXPERIENCE AT THIS DEALERSHIP. I NEEDED AN OIL CHANGE AND A FRONT END ALIGNMENT. 1. HAD APPOINTMENT AT 7:30AM. WAS TOLD NO LONGER THAN 2-2.5 HOUR WAIT 2. GOT TRUCK BACK 4.5 HOURS LATER........WAS TOLD TECHNICIAN WAS HAVING TROUBLE WITH ALIGNMENT MACHINE.......SERVICE MANAGER HELPING HIM. 3. GET INSIDE MY TRUCK.........FILTHY AGAIN..........SERVICE MANAGER HAS TO CLEAN INSIDE OF MY TRUCK. I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW THESE GUYS GET GREASE ALL OVER MY HEADLINER, SEATS, AND DOORS! THEY DON'T GIVE A xxxx!! THIS IS NOT THE SAME SERVICE MANAGER. HE DOESN'T GIVE A xxxx- CHUCK P. IS HIS NAME. CLEANS THE INSIDE OF MY TRUCK WITH SPRAY CLEANER THAT IS NOT THE BEST.......I WILL GET CLEANED PROPERLY MYSELF. 4. DRIVE OFF AND THE STEERING WHEEL IS OFFSET FROM CENTER FROM THE ALIGNMENT. HAD TO BRING BACK AND ANOTHER SERVICE MANAGER WORKED WITH ME........CHUCK P. CAN'T HANDLE IT. 1.5 HOURS LATER I FINALLY LEAVE. 6 HOUR VISIT FROM xxxx! STEERING WHEEL STILL NOT CENTER. I WILL TAKE TO ANOTHER PLACE TO GET RIGHT. THIS DEALERSHIP NEEDS LEADERSHIP. I HAVE REACHED OUT TO GM- LEDOUX IS HIS NAME........WORTHLESS. ALL SERVICE MANAGERS........WORTHLESS. GOOD LUCK TO ALL WHO VENTURES HERE! ONE THING I WILL SAY ABOUT DON DAVIS DEALERSHIPS IN DFW METROPLEX. THEY ARE ALL VERY GOOD DEALERSHIPS EXCEPT FOR FORD. THE SERVICE MANAGERS KNOW THEIR STUFF. I HAVE A 2020 JEEP RUBICON THAT I BOUGHT FROM DON DAVIS JEEP- EXCELLENT SERVICE! SO, IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THEY JUST NEED TO CLEAN HOUSE AND START OVER AT THE FORD DEALERSHIP! More
I found a used high mileage 1 owner F-350 at this dealership and immediately spoke with Kevin P. in sales about coming to see it. I drove to the dealership (1hr from home) to speak with him and see i dealership and immediately spoke with Kevin P. in sales about coming to see it. I drove to the dealership (1hr from home) to speak with him and see it. I knew it was just listed and had not even been through make-ready for sale, so we did a test drive and walk-around to note the things needing repair/replacement. Kevin was helpful, courteous, and professional as we discussed the work the truck needed prior to delivery and settled on a deal for a cash deal. Unfortunately, after 3 separate trips to pick the truck up for those agreed-upon repairs, I was ultimately told that the used car manager and service manager would not fix/replace the heated/AC seat with a new control module ($250 part). A few of the other agreed upon repairs weren't done either, but at this point, with this being my 3rd 6.7 Super Duty, I have enough experience with them that I'll just tackle them myself. I'm sure their new car/truck sales are great, but with this experience, I felt pushed out the door by their used car manager. With all that said, I would absolutely work with Kevin Pryor directly again on a new truck sale. He was extremely helpful with all of the things he could control, always answered the phone, and got me a capable loaner vehicle (diesel pickup) each time the F-350 was dropped off so we could complete our ranch tasks. I have been taking my vehicle there since I purchased it back in 2009, and this is the second time they don't refill all fluids as should happen since my car was being services with The Works package. Alth back in 2009, and this is the second time they don't refill all fluids as should happen since my car was being services with The Works package. Although I mentioned service advisor that last time they didn't replenish the windshield washer fluid last time my car was serviced there, and he said he'll mak sure this won't happen again, well, guess what? it happened again and when I arrive home about 25 minutes away from dealership my wife told me the didn't add fluid to reservoir. My concern is how can I be sure oil change, tire rotation and everything was done as expected and paid for since they cannot do something as simple as refilling a windshield washer reservoir. Not a good experience, second time in a row; last time didn't make a review but I guess this is not right and mus be shared. More
