I traded in a 2021 Dodge Charger in excellent condition with very low miles. Based on market valuations from KBB/Edmunds, the vehicle was worth close to $30,000, and I expected around $15,000 in equity after payoff. However, the dealership valued my trade at $15,750 total, leaving me only $850 in equity — a number that was never clearly explained during the signing process. The finance signing was handled on a tablet with minimal walkthrough, and I left without receiving full documentation that I requested. I have reached out multiple times for clarification on the valuation and documentation. Responses have been delayed, incomplete, or redirected, and after more than a week I still do not have a satisfactory explanation for the drastic discrepancy. While I love the vehicle I purchased, I cannot recommend this dealership based on my experience. Please review all numbers carefully, ask for full documentation upfront, and confirm trade valuations independently before signing anything.
