EXTREMELY disappointed on our first "truck" service visit. Only 1 (one) mechanic works there that can repair our 2016 F250 Diesel?? Our issue isn't even related to the diesel engine.. It's a switch/but visit. Only 1 (one) mechanic works there that can repair our 2016 F250 Diesel?? Our issue isn't even related to the diesel engine.. It's a switch/button that adjusts mirrors.. MAN, WE GOT SCREWED! Bought this VERY EXPENSIVE service contract for a substandard service department. We feel grossly taken advantage of. The service adviser said there was a TWO WEEK wait when we make an appointment. Still in shock and trying to find another group to accept this contract. Had no idea that Don Davis dealership couldn't/wouldn't live up to this service contract in a timely manner. Please let me know how long it should take to replace switch. (Wouldn't or couldn't even pre-order this component to help expedite our 2 weeks Future visit.) Now if anyone that even cares reads this and acts, will be astonished. More
Probably the worst service experience ever Set up appt for a recall about 10 days in advance. Took car in on Thurs 6/11, called on Fri, wasn't done. Needed car, went to pick it up. Told us parts were not in but they had those 10 days to get them there.. Did not have car ready. Could not find service writer although they paged 3 times. Had to go into her cubicle to get keys. During that time made several phone calls to both service writer and shop manager. Always went to voice mail, never a return call. Manager called about two weeks later on a Monday that parts were in but didn't have a loner car. Would call Tues to let me know when I could bring it in. Finally called on Friday and set up appt for following Monday. Added oil change to the order with $39.99 coupon. Tried to overcharge me but did rectify that after some debate. The only bright spots and the reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1: the original service writer apparently got fired and Mark, who I was told to ask for when I brought it in. Mark was pleasant, knowledgeable and a breath of fresh air at this facility. More
I will recommend Don Davis Ford/Lincoln for oil changes only. i’m disappointed to see that all the Lincoln vehicles have been removed from the lot and I am unsure that they even sell Lincoln at this point. only. i’m disappointed to see that all the Lincoln vehicles have been removed from the lot and I am unsure that they even sell Lincoln at this point. I am never asked if I want my Lincoln washed, so the vehicle is returned with greasy handprints on the hood, roof, windows, and inside the car. I have pointed this out to them on numerous occasions. But got little response other than and apology. If I have anything further serviced I preferred to take it to a Lincoln Dealership over in Fort Worth. But when I am in a rush and the Lincoln Dealership cannot get me in I use Don Davis as a convenience. I don’t like being harsh but you were treated the same as someone who owns a Ford focus. Lincoln is supposed to be a premium luxury vehicle and there are perks to owning such a vehicle. Don Davis is a Ford Dealership and it is very obvious. They lack a little polishing. So as far as recommending Don Davis, yes if you need fluids changed. I would not recommend them for major repair. I have taken my Lincoln to them for recalls and the manner in which you are treated is very non-accommodating. You are told you have to leave your vehicle and no mention of a loaner, rental or shuttle service. Let’s not forget to mention a timeline. I will continue to use Hook’s Lincoln for all other service needs. More
I had to return after just being in there yo get a oil change and a rotation. I had already been in there to get my tire refilled. They did not check all the tires. There were actually 2 low on air. My RR tire was low again and when I took it back in they found a screw in my tire after being in the 3 times. Hmmmm. CheckEd my air. Filled my front pass side up and both tires on r side. Take it back and get oil and rotation still not fixed and come back again and find scree in tire. Hmm More

Sales department was great service department ignored my request for a quote saying they couldn’t get one. I called and talked to a different service agent and he was able to get a quote immediately. Recall I made my appiontment for 10am and got there early, they came right out and get me going and it took most of the day. I picked it up and later found my TPMS not working nor my remote start. However Marc set me up for another appt and had it fixed in a couple of hours.
