Terrible vehicle Not very impressed with service or their vehicles. I had electrical problems with my 2018 Hyundai Tucson that I bought Dec 2018. I had to bring it in Not very impressed with service or their vehicles. I had electrical problems with my 2018 Hyundai Tucson that I bought Dec 2018. I had to bring it in several times since January before they could diagnose the issues. They where finally able to duplicate the problem and repair it last week. I though that would be the end of it-NOPE! In the process of repairing the defect the technicians damaged/scratched the interior plastic on the dash and above the steering wheel. They also did not put it together correctly. They gave me my car back with part of the dash not completely attached fortunately the service guy was able to pop that part back into place. They also didn't but the dash bored back correctly because some of the service lights where covered by plastic around the steering wheel. I am not sure if they look at the vehicle before they give them back to their customers or if they just don't care about the damage they do while repairing someones car. I traded one problem for another and I officially regret ever stepping foot on their car lot. The staff is friendly but it doesn't really make up for the absolutely awful service. I will never by from Clay Cooley or a Hyundai ever again. More
They do not know how to return calls. We have purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership. Our sales experience was good but once they have you money they will return a phone call or call wh We have purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership. Our sales experience was good but once they have you money they will return a phone call or call when they say the will. Debbie had scheduled her car to have window tint installed for last Friday with Dan (salesman). When she dropped the car off with service they told her they would make sure Dan knew it was there. After not hearing from anyone for a few hours, Debbie called Dan to check on the car. He told he would check on it and call back, after not hearing from Dan for an hour she called and talked with a sales manager, he also said he would call back. He did not bother to call her back so she returned to the dealership to get her car and was told it was scheduled for the following Monday not Friday. The service advisor told her that Dan had dropped the ball and did not get it to the tinting contractor. Debbie called the dealership and asked to speak with the general manager. The operator passed her to Blake, he is not the general manager and failed to tell her that he is not the GM. Blake did get her car scheduled for tinting on Saturday morning. After her experience with these clowns she refuses to take her car back to them so she took it the the tinting contractor herself. While talking the the tint representative about this fiasco he told her that Clay Cooley Hyundai had called them Friday about her car and they told them to bring it over and they would have it out in an hour. They must have decided they where too busy to do this or forgot about her car. All they had to do is admit they forgot or got to busy and returned calls as promised instead of avoiding her. I have also emailed Clay Cooley regarding this matter and he has not responded, I guess this type of crappy service is normal behavior for his organization. I previously called Skipper Johnson and he does not call back. Spend you money with another dealer that will at least return a call. More
