I was very impressed with my auto shopping experience at Boardwalk VW Park Cities. I tried to purchase a 2012 Golf R at another dealership, but they made no effort to sell the car at my price. BJ Knous did his very best to earn my business on a new 2013 R, by meeting my budget concerns over pricing and financing. Israel Veloquez was an excellent salesman to work with and provided a great test drive. Coming from a 2010 GTI w/DSG (automatic), I was concerned about going back to a manual 6 speed only. BJ allowed me to drive the car home (12 miles) to show the wife and get some more time with the manual transmission. It took that long in traffic to convince me I would not be happy driving a manual again. I didn't purchase the car but I know where I'll return for my next VW product. The R is a GREAT car but not for me with right shoulder arthritis. Again, buy with confidence here. More
