To make a long story short, i purchased a dodge challenger march 2026 and it was a disaster to say the least. drove 5 hrs just for my trade to be lowballed and while test driving my soon to be new vehicle i noticed the vehicle would grind when going into reverse (manual trans) and judder upon take of, i mentioned to my sales person and he assured me that if there was any major issue it would be addressed even after purchase so i continued especially because there was already other customers in to look at the vehicle as well and i did not want to drive 5 hrs one way for nothing as i proceed to finance. the finance manager was so sorry and lacked knowledge on products he was trying to sell (jeremy). after 7hrs i signed and made my way back to dallas, as soon as i get home i try to back into my garage and the vehicle is grinding horribly and will not let me in reverse. i contacted the dealer first thing in the morning and they attempted to gaslight me into saying it was normal operation... i am not fooled i hold 5 ase's and have owned 6 manual vehicles... including a Camaro with the same exact transmission! so after 1 1/2 of back and forth i take my vehicle to dodge near me to have my issues documented and to confirm to see how clearlake wanted to proceed.. i payed for vehicle to be diagnosed out of my pocket at a dodge store and the vehicle needed a clutch. dealer quoted 7k for and oem one. i did more research on my vehicles service history and called the transmission shop it was at 2k miles before clearlake took possession of the vehicle and they sent me an invoice of them recommending a clutch replacement right before it was sold to me! so with that info i send to clearlake and me being the realistic person i am i sourced out an aftermarket clutch kit for 1900 and sent that to them as well because 7k is quite abit. clearlake asked their parts dept to try and find one as well and the cheapest they found one for was 3k so the one i found was realistic i thought, but no immediately i am told by jeremy that he is not going to do anything for me, and even makes a distasteful comments "you made it home right" "shouldve bought the warranty" when in reality i work with ext warranties every day and i know no extended warranty will cover a preexisting issue, a clutch because it is wear and tear and the vehicle is well in its grace period on top of that its a performance vehicle. so after my call with jeremy he proceeds to dodge me for the next 5 days, very telling for the person he is.. so i proceed to drive down to clearlake to rectify this issue on my next off day and clearlake continued to try and dismiss me even with printed documentation. Valentino is the dictionary definition of useless it seems like he was just thrown in the tower.. he had the nerve to admit that he drove the challenger and noticed the grind issue but let is ship because it is "normal" some automotive knowledge he has after taking to him and jeramey he decided to back track his comments he made instead of looking me is the eyes as a man once again very telling.. at this point i just wanted parts covered and they kept telling me no until i spoke with chase and after negotiation he agreed to cover cost of only HALF of the part and none of labor. i don't know how this could get past the recon team and mishandling by management.. you would think if you spent 41k + on a vehice you would be treated like a customer but i guess not. I would avoid clear lake infiniti at all costs. More

I recommend better attention and sincerity. Christopher Walker and Billy Frank were very kind in guiding me with my purchase, since I was negotiating my vehicle from Utah. I can't be completely happy because I asked for photos of the imperfections and they omitted several of them that are very obvious such as: Right Passenger Side Door Mirror and Right Passenger Rear Reflector Light Bumper are broken, I didn't want to argue about it and agreed to take the vehicle like that, because it was a long trip and I didn't feel the availability of the person who attended me at that time, because I made him know those details and he didn't say anything about it; I recommend in the future to be more honest about these details, with clients out of state.
