Misleading Online Advertising I live in St. Louis city and made the drive out to Wentzville based on the advertising on Autotrader and the dealership website. The advertising indicated a large “Wentzville discount” had reduced the pricing of Hyundai Elantras to roughly $13.500. Other local Hyundai dealerships list out the specific rebates customers are potentially eligible for, which is helpful, but I had hope that Wentzville had a big discount without as many contingencies. I arrived and found out after a long process that I was wrong to hope for that. I was prepared to meet in the middle between the (barely discounted) offer they made and the advertised price, which seemed fair to me, but the sales manager Chang treated me with intense condescension and disrespect, as though he could cow me into submitting to his will and buying the car. I was fed up with being spoken down to and manipulated, and said so on my way out the door. I headed for my car prepared to leave when the higher up managers came out to try to make peace. They told me they had an almost new Elantra with only 2000 miles on it. That was another bait and switch because the car to test drive turned out to be an Accent, a smaller car than the Elantra. I ended up being worn down by a long day of tense negotiation and settling on a 2015 Elantra that was priced somewhat fairly per KBB, although it had some scuffs on the windshield and other places, and was not a steal by any means. The moral of the story is that Hyundai of Wentzville should change their website to be in line with the other Hyundai dealerships that indicate specific line item rebates rather than a generic and massive “Wentzville discount.” They should also fire Chang, who embodies everything stereotypically bad about pushy and narcissistic car salesmen. I was skeptical at first, but he showed me the Elantra and it showed me everything I wanted in a car. It felt good under my foot while drive, so smooth, the front seats had a hard plastic backing to withstand my kid's feet, and it was roomier for my LO to grow up in. Not the biggest, hottest selling features, but the ones my family needs. Things could go better on the paperwork side, but overall, I am very happy to find this 2019 Elantra, the gas mileage is already better than I expected. I look forward to many happy years with this great ride and an unbeatable warranty! More

Great team to buy from. We had to wait several hours because of financing. This isn't really a negative on the dealership. They went through several options to get us a lower interest rate. Our salesperson Kim was with us most of the time we had to wait, offering snacks and drinks. The people were great. We drove out after business hours, but the staff stuck with it to make sure we didn't have to drive back another day. We are happy with our almost new Nissan Sentra that has a 30 year, 300k powertrain warranty because we bought it here. Great place to buy, and they work hard to keep you happy. More
