TAKATA RECALL I received a recall notice from Subaru in regards to a faulty air bag inflator. Very friendly, however concerned about recall items The service center coordinator and the technician were very friendly and easy to work with. The service coordinator stated there were four recall item The service center coordinator and the technician were very friendly and easy to work with. The service coordinator stated there were four recall items for our vehicle. They stated they would not have time to do all that day which I understood as my appointment was at 4:00. However they would try to do a couple of the services. One item was a crossbar which needed to be either replaced or rust proofed, depending on its condition. Prior to the inspection they stated that item would not be able to be completed either way due to time. When they were done with the vehicle they said that they were able to take care of all the recalls, including the crossbar, which I was extremely happy about. However, my husband looked under the vehicle and said the crossbar has not been rust proofed, which leads me to wonder if the remainder of the recall items had actually been completed as stated. Again, very friendly! But due to the lack of confidence of all the items actually being taken care of I am hesitant to either recommend or not recommend. More

At that time, John than told me about the air bag recall,"We may as well make an appointment for you now." Subarus are pretty popular my cluster of friends. All wondered how I received my recall letter about a week ago and already had an appointment for the replacement. I just smiled and said, " I got friends in high places. Everyone was friendly and it felt like a neighborhood dealership-one you tell your friends and family to shop at because they are fair and friendly. My one complaint is the detailing of the car. There is an expectation that a car should be clean and detailed upon pick up. The car was not detailed whatsoever upon pick up. Besides this, we were very satisfied and are super pleased with our new Subaru! More
