Rarely have I visited a car dealership where the sales associate knew more about the vehicle I was interested in than I did. This was the case this time. Peter answered every question my daughter and I associate knew more about the vehicle I was interested in than I did. This was the case this time. Peter answered every question my daughter and I had. He volunteered valuable additional information we needed. I felt we were thoroughly versed on the Cruze. We were able to work out a compromise on pricing that suited both parties. I was needing Michael to reach a figure we needed to finance the vehicle and he was able to exceed I request. I couldn't be more please with our experience. I would expect any salesperson to be friendly. But professional to the extreme? Out of the ordinary. This young man's product knowledge was outstanding, as was shown by how well versed in the features professional to the extreme? Out of the ordinary. The old car-salesman tactics of "sit here", "wait here", "do this" and "do that" were never used on us. Had his mother been watching and listening, she would have been very proud. And speaking of listening, he gave us all the information we wanted and needed AFTER he listened to what we wanted and why we were there. When we had found a few options, and said we were leaving to check out another dealer, there were no tantrums or last minute "discounts". Just a "thank you" for the opportunity. After our visit to the "big-city" dealer, we left confused, and aware of all the tactics they used to sell us a vehicle, any vehicle, not necessarily the one we wanted. We stopped for lunch, and agreed that a second visit to Clinkscales was what we wanted. After the sales manager, Edwin, verified a few of the questions we had after leaving the "big city" dealer.
