I purchased 4 new Continental tires for my CRV, trusting the service department I did not check to see all 4 tires were the same. While washing and cleaning my car I noticed 2 sets of tires, different on fr the service department I did not check to see all 4 tires were the same. While washing and cleaning my car I noticed 2 sets of tires, different on front then rear. I called and was told the rear ones were discontinued and they don't understand how that happened. You buy 4 tires you of course want them to be the same. Also told that the technician probably read the order wrong. I wanted 4 new tires but was told I will get 2 to match the other set. Now I have to take time to get thie tires changed. Word to the wise. Check everything you purchase when there. More
5 hours to have new brake pads and rotors public on, nearly 2 hours of it just to have them do a brake inspection, all of this was with an appointment with me waiting. This is the worst experience I hav nearly 2 hours of it just to have them do a brake inspection, all of this was with an appointment with me waiting. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a dealership service department. I will never go here again. More
A while back there was a software recall on my car, which caused the check engine light to go on. We brought it in, they supposedly did the update, and yet the light never went off. Upon that visit, they a caused the check engine light to go on. We brought it in, they supposedly did the update, and yet the light never went off. Upon that visit, they advised I was nearing 100,000 miles and would need a new timing belt. I took the car to my mechanic upon the next servicing and told him about the dealership's recommendation to which he replied "You don't have a timing belt in that car; You have a chain. It doesn't need to be replaced." So right there, the dealership lost my trust. Now, here I am about 2-3 years later and I have to get the software update run again so that the check engine light will go off and the car can pass inspection. I tried to call on Friday 3/25. I heard a male voice talking (no Hello/Clinton Honda/May I help you) and I said "Who is this?" and got the response that it was the "phone guy". He then hung up. I called back again, confused, and once again, someone picked up. I said "Hi I'm trying to reach Clinton Honda." He said "Yeah, we're having trouble with the phones, can you call back?" I said "would tomorrow be good?" and he hung up on me. I DO NOT recommend this dealership to anyone. Terrible service department who don't even know which parts are in their own cars. Plus they have awful customer service. More
