Service was fine. Oil change went well. They looked at other items that asked about, too. Now onto the purchase on May 25th, 2012. I'm still upset that I wasn't offered pricing based on me being a Chase Bank employee. I mentioned it to three different people. Gene, Rishi, and Brad but noone seemed to want to offer me the discount. Later, when i produced the paperwork for the discount program, Gene said that the dealership would be incentivized also but it was too late since I already signed the contract, but WHY???...when I mentioned to all three of them, prior to the sale that I work for Chase Bank, no one mentioned that the dealership participates in the Hyundai Circle employee discount program. Just another line of proof that dealerships and salesmen take pride screwing people out of every penny possible. That's $20 a month extra I now have to pay, which is $1,200 for the life of the loan. I think it's poor business that the discount cannot be applied retroactively. If you would like to save face and call me back in to renegotiate the contract, that would be much appreciated. More
I was greeted immediately upon arrival, informed of the length of time I would be waiting for my service and offered a shuttle back home if necessary. Everyone at Coastal in service department, Eric Bush excellent. I like the new look very much. The waiting area is great, so is coffee. I bought a Sonata in 2002 from Coastal, still have and almost 2 excellent. I like the new look very much. The waiting area is great, so is coffee. I was with a flat tire and accident both within 4 days. I was in a bind having to drop the vehicle off to get the tire fix all while processing the accident claim. I would recommend but with hesitation. Every time I have come in for a repair, it has not gone as it should. There has been communication errors, parts not in, issues not corrected but stated they were, ch come in for a repair, it has not gone as it should. There has been communication errors, parts not in, issues not corrected but stated they were, checklist paperwork is a joke not every tech actually takes the tome to accurately assess the tires and brakes. Within a one week visit I had two opinions on my tires. The first visit they were bad, and they are as I know, then the next visit they were fine giving me a false sense of security. Has to make me wonder about the actual repair. Doesn't give me a whole lot of confidence. Although the repair department tries to have it together, it still doesn't run like it should. I also resent the fact that they push the sales of repairs to make a commission. It is blatantly obvious and obnoxious. More
