Hi - We are disappointed to see your review. The Armada is a large and heavy vehicle, which results in higher levels of wear and tear on maintenance items like tires. Tires can be rotated to extend the useful life but factors like alignment can expedite wear. We can't speak to the information you are receiving from a garage or a competitor selling tires but there is no way for Coastal to falsify a computerized alignment report. We offered to replace the tires and perform the labor at our cost as a goodwill gesture but we stand by our service and diagnosis. We welcome the opportunity to serve you again in the future.

Hi Susan - We were disappointed to see your review and wanted to revisit our earlier conversations about the situation with your brake repair work. We apologize for the confusion that initially resulted from a mistake on the repair order (listing the operation code for front brakes rather than rear brakes) and the suspicion that there may have been intentional deception. We did a thorough investigation and concluded that the work you requested and paid for was done properly to your vehicle. We are sorry to see you go as a customer but will remove your record from our regular maintenance reminders if that is your preference.

Ok so answer my question. Did Tony erase the work I had done from the system so he could take the $500 dollars cash? I don’t care about the money as he stole from coastal not me but I do care that he erased from the system actual work I had done on my car. The answer would be yes as you had me come down to the dealership with the paperwork he manipulated and you made copies of everything and stated to me he removed the work from the computer. So YES please take me off your service reminders.

We understand your frustration as this was a unique situation. The work done to your vehicle was not erased. We photocopied the original amounts that were printed before they were changed. The wrong operation code was used (front instead of rear brakes), but the part numbers needed for the rear brake operation were correct. I would be more than happy to create a work order and make a note that the wrong operation code was used so it will be in your permanent history. Please let me know if you are interested in that.

Erica - I’m sorry that you are not satisfied. - You purchased a used 2009 Frontier with 100k ++ miles from an independent used car dealer - You brought it to Coastal and paid $129 plus tax and shop fees to have a multipoint inspection done - Our shop said, in general, the vehicle is in good condition for the year and mileage - You brought it to your mechanic for inspection and he failed it due to a faulty lower ball joint/control arm - I acknowledge that it is possible that we might have missed the diagnosis but sometimes the results of an inspection can come down to a difference of opinion between technicians. We stand behind our factory trained and certified technicians unless/until we have the opportunity to inspect the vehicle again. - I offered to have you bring the vehicle back so we can look at it again but you said we are too far away - I offered to give you a 15% discount of the price our shop quoted you, if it does in fact need to be repaired, which you thought was unreasonable . You then said you wanted the repair 50% off - You requested a refund for the multi point inspection which I did not think was reasonable since I offered to look at the car again and give you a 15% break on the repair. - You made it clear that it was not worth your time and gas to drive all the way back to Coastal since you live far away - You then threatened to tarnish Coastal’s reputation on Social Media and with the BBB It’s important to mention again that you did not buy the car here at Coastal. The dealer you purchased the truck from is responsible for the vehicle after the sale. My offers of assistance above still stand if you'd like to bring the vehicle to us.
