While I appreciate the offer I'd like to see the solution materialize more before I can comment on the adequacy of your offer. The car is currently at the Honda dealer waiting for service. Per the Honda dealer the smell of burning oil is coming from an oil leak from the valve cover gasket that allows oil to drip down onto the catalytic converter. They also said some important wire(I cannot recall which) is crimped and the air cleaner, the transmission fluid, and the brake fluid are dirty and need to be changed. For all of the issues aforementioned in the original post I find it's plausible that the air cleaner, transmission fluid, and brake fluid were not changed in the pre-check delivery. But I digress, I do not want to rehash all that I've already typed, I would like to move forward and I see that you all have taken the first step to move forward in good faith with finding some mutual resolution to the issues I've raised. Since I just bought the car on Monday night last week I know that you can understand my not being able to think about a car detail or an oil change right now until these open items have been addressed. I do however appreciate the follow up.

Wow! What a difference a day makes. Shawn has been great. I understood I couldn't get every little thing taken care of, but he gave me a fair offer and I am more than satisfied with it. I was at my wits end with this and Shawn and Leslie pulled it out for me in the clutch. I would wholeheartedly recommend this dealership if Shawn and Leslie were working the front line. Thank again guys.
