This was not about my “budget expectations.” It was about repeated misrepresentation of my lease-end options, refusal to provide basic numbers or pricing unless I signed paperwork first, and ultimately refusing to honor the lease contract that your dealership had me sign three years ago. Transparency means providing clear options and numbers before asking a customer to commit to anything — not after. At no point was I given a straightforward explanation of my choices despite multiple requests. I am not interested in “reworking a deal.” I expected the terms of an existing, signed contract to be honored and clearly explained, which did not happen. This response unfortunately continues to mischaracterize the issue rather than addressing it. I will never step foot in your shady dealership for sales, service, or any other reason.

If the lease contract you are referencing was signed three years ago, it was not originated by our dealership, and we were not involved in the original sale or lease terms. That said, I’m sorry you felt frustrated during your recent interaction. Our intention is always to provide clear information based on the options available to us as the current servicing dealership.

Thank you for the clarification regarding when Coconut Creek Mazda opened. I agree that the lease was not originated by your dealership. However, that fact is not relevant to the issue at hand. A Mazda Financial Services lease-end buyout is governed by the lease contract and Mazda Financial Services policy, not by the originating dealership. Any authorized Mazda dealer may process a lease-end buyout, regardless of where the lease was originally signed. The concern remains that during my visit, Coconut Creek Mazda declined to process the lease-end buyout according to the contract terms and instead attempted to restructure the transaction by having me sell the vehicle to the dealership and repurchase it as a used car at a higher price, stating that it was Mazda's policy to do so. That approach is not required by Mazda Financial Services and materially alters the customer’s contractual buyout rights and equity. This was not a misunderstanding of options—it was a refusal to complete the standard lease-end buyout as written and an attempt to mislead a customer through tactics with questionable ethical standing. I was simply requesting that Coconut Creek Mazda, as an authorized Mazda dealer servicing Mazda Financial Services leases, honor the lease-end buyout process in accordance with Mazda policy and the signed contract, regardless of where the lease originated. In fact, I left your dealership and went directly to Gunther Mazda in Fort Lauderdale, where they honored the contract and followed Mazda policy, resulting in a quick, easy buyout. I encourage all to do the same to avoid the underhanded tactics I have experienced at Coconut Creek Mazda.
