When we walked into this Honda dealership, myself, my husband and son were greeted by two gentleman holding the doors open for us. He showed us numerous cars around the car lot, and one on the show room floor until we settled on a low mileage Honda Passport that was the sales managers demo. We said we had to think about it and wanted to go eat and Tyler suggested we try El Jefes for lunch. We had a wonderful lunch and to our surprise he called ahead and ordered us appetizers that he paid for. We came back to the store after lunch, and were treated with the same neighborly respect and dignity. They gave us a great deal on the car, and the manager even brought in the rear mats he had left at home, and gave them to us for free…my husband had asked Tyler for a Honda hat but their parts department was closed…a few days later we got a hand written thank you letter from Tyler that included a Honda Hat for my husband that Tyler had personally paid for…we have never experience neighborly customer service like this at any car dealership in all our years of car shopping. Recently, my wife and I went to Coeur d’Alene Honda to shop for a new Pilot. When we arrived, we were met by a salesman by the name of Tyler Abbott, who assisted us in our search. He suggested that we con shop for a new Pilot. When we arrived, we were met by a salesman by the name of Tyler Abbott, who assisted us in our search. He suggested that we consider a 2026 Passport, which was similar to a Pilot, but more capable in winter driving conditions, as well as in moderate off-road scenarios. Ultimately, after asking a slew of questions, which Tyler answered quite adeptly, and a test drive in a nearly-new Passport (1,300 miles), we bought it. We have purchased several Hondas in the past, and, aside from the outstanding dependability that the brand has always offered us, we truly value the fact that we’ve never felt pressured by a Honda salesperson while shopping for a car. I am pleased to report that this experience was no exception. In fact, I believe this was the best car buying experience we have ever encountered. Tyler’s very professional, easygoing personality and impressive knowledge ultimately convinced us to specifically buy our new vehicle at Coeur d’Alene Honda. e bought a Passport today and the whole experience was easy and they were kind. While we were there a dealer we had visited earlier in the day text and said they would get us a nicer model, in the color I easy and they were kind. Well, how he was trying to do this was by doing a dealer swap. Our salesman at CDA Honda warned us to be careful because he might be promising something he doesn’t have. Long story short - Mikel Ethington, our salesman at CDA Honda - allowed us space to figure out if this other dealer was for real or not, was so patient while we were deciding, and ended up being right. The other dealer did not have this car to offer. So, we bought here and are happy with our purchase and the experience! More
