I visited the dealership on March 22nd to get a price and take a test drive in the Ford Fiesta ST. I was very impressed by the quick and eager manner in which I was helped, and equally impressed with the salesperson who assisted me. Frank was really knowledgeable about the Fiesta I was interested in and seemed happy to answer all of my questions. During the test drive, I was surprised by the performance of what is really an economy car. I was not prepared to actually purchase the car that day, but I will definitely be heading back to Mike Davidson later this week to do just that. Overall I had a great experience, and would recommend both the dealership and my salesman Frank if you are looking for a new vehicle. He was knowledgeable and helpful about the whole process without the usual pushy sales tactics which make me uncomfortable at a dealership. More
I was looking to buy a pick-up. I narrowed my choices to the Toyota Tundra and the F150. I was considering the best value for the money. I did some research in the internet and was glad that Tobey Yost cont the Toyota Tundra and the F150. I was considering the best value for the money. I did some research in the internet and was glad that Tobey Yost contacted me right away. He asked me to stop over and from my first meeting with him I felt very comfortable. I ended buying a brand new F-150 from Mike Davidson Ford. The price was right at what we offered for the truck. During the negotiations my wife and I dealt with Tobey and Brian. What a pleasure dealing with them. I was amazed at their professionalism and how they strive to service us the best they could. That is what I called customer oriented salesmen. From the negotiations to the delivery and subsequent service I was astonished how the personnel from the dealership go the extract mile to make the customer their number one priority. I took the F-150 twice to the dealer for the installation of the bed liner and rear view camera and sensor. For this Alex Serrano took care of my concerns and once again his attention to make sure I was satisfy exceeded my expectations. My experience with Mike Davidson dealership has change my opinion of car dealers. A least this dealership is number one on my book. Hope you continue with this business philosophy. It is really a pleasure to go to the dealership. The attention is supper. Continue the good job. More

Above and beyond. Those are the only words that can describe my experience with the whole team at Mike Davidson Ford. After a horrid run in with your typical "used car dealer" which i drove 8 hours to describe my experience with the whole team at Mike Davidson Ford. After a horrid run in with your typical "used car dealer" which i drove 8 hours to go see. I was none too happy; BUT! Gunny walked me through the car, send me cell phone pictures, emailed me listing details ALL before the vehicle even hit the website with real details! They stayed open for me an extra 3 hours from the time they closed just to wait on me to get there and close the deal. The finance team was excellent and they even had it express washed too, AT 11 PM!?! The follow up calls/emails as well as the whole paper work was amazing. If you're looking for a solid A++ team to buy a vehicle from no matter the make or model THESE GUYS ARE IT! Being in the auto industry (sales) for the past 10 years they have exceeded even INDUSTRY expectation for great lengths! Thanks again guys, I'm loving the car more and more everyday! More

Mike Murdoch is unethical. I understand that the nature of car dealing is pretty shady in general. Through my recent car searching experience, countless dealers have used various bait and switch tactics an of car dealing is pretty shady in general. Through my recent car searching experience, countless dealers have used various bait and switch tactics and a number of other questionable methods to try to get my business. I never complain about that because I expect it. In this case, the way I was treated at Mike Davidson Ford was truly unethical. I live in North Carolina, but have been searching for a very particular vehicle for a few weeks now. I found that vehicle at Mike Davidson Ford. I called and spoke w/ Mike Murdoch who took my credit app over the phone and came back with some numbers that I was pre-approved for. We went back and forth a bit on the same day. I recognize that during the negotiation process, nothing is final and there's no guarantee the car will be held for you. The next day, I called Mike and told him that I wanted the truck and was willing to purchase it sight unseen and ready to handle all the paperwork over the phone. He said that he couldn't accept my trade without seeing it and that he was still waiting on the banks to come through with a firm approval on a 4.9% interest rate for me (I don't have the best credit). I told MIke that I wanted the truck no matter what and was ready to seal the deal over the phone. I told him that I could afford the truck without the trade and that I didn't need a 4.9% rate, that even a 6% rate or whatever he could get me would work. During this same conversation, he told me that someone else was interested in making a deal on the truck, but that it didn't end up going through. This means there was no deal pending that would stand in the way from me buying the truck, if he would have acted on my decision to buy. He said he'd find out what rate he could get me and call me back in 30 minutes (he never called and never answered any of my calls). A couple hours later, Mike emailed me about how there were challenges with the title of my trade in, which at the time I thought was under my dad's name. They didn't want to do any trade in with a vehicle under my dad's name. This is in spite of me telling him that I don't need to do the trade to make the deal work. He was just putting me off instead of following through with a deal that I was ready to make. He emailed me again an hour later saying that someone else was interested in a deal on the truck and that I would have to wait until Monday to do anything, since my finance situation was in a 'pending' status due to the numerous recent inquiries on my credit (I had been shopping around). I ended up driving to Florida, 5 hours away, so that Mike couldn't avoid me or circumvent a deal w/ me any further. When I arrived, I literally saw the new owner getting ready to pull away w/ the truck that I wanted. They sold it. Mike asked if I was interested in buying something else. I said, "well, even if I am interested, I couldn't leave here with a truck today because of the pending status on my financing, right?" Mike told me that they could still make a deal and I could leave with a truck, they would just finish up the process on Monday. This means Mike had every ability to make a deal with me over the phone and the excuses he gave me about the 'trade issues' and 'finance pending status' were irrelevant. I was ready to make a deal and Mike kept putting me off because, as he said, "Saturday's are busy and other people are interested in the truck." Maybe I'm wrong to call Mike Murdoch unethical, but I was one of those people interested in the truck, they already had my credit app, and in spite of whatever 'pending' status he referred to, they had the ability to secure a deal with me. He basically discriminated against me because of the distance factor, even though I told him that I wanted to purchase the truck sight unseen (which people do all the time). He overlooked my chance to purchase the truck and waited for others to come along and offered them a chance over me. My issue has less to do with losing the truck and more to do with him using excuses and giving me the run around when I was ready to make a deal (before other deals in progress), only to find that those excuses he gave me were suddenly not an issue if I wanted to buy a different truck. Mike Murdoch is unethical. Car dealers in general are pretty shifty and I feel sorry for people in that line of work, because it's mostly based on cheating consumers, but Mike Murdoch is even lower than the average car dealer (and he's a Manager at this store). There's no reason he shouldn't have sold me that truck. There's no reason for him to put me off and use irrelevant excuses to keep from selling the truck to me. He knew it was feasible and within my means to purchase the truck and I made it clear that I was ready to purchase the truck, but because of my distance, he used excuses to put me off while he tried to get it sold to someone else locally. I purchased a "Certified Pre-Owned" 2010 Mustang GT from this dealer. It had water in the spoiler so I took it in so that they could get it fixed. I also asked for a better security system t Mustang GT from this dealer. It had water in the spoiler so I took it in so that they could get it fixed. I also asked for a better security system to be installed. I was told that they would keep me updated on the progress. They never contacted me, so after a week, I called them. I was told by Ken in service that he would check on my car and call me back within the hour. A few hours later, after not receiving a call, I called back and was told my car was ready. I went up the next day to pick up my car from the service department, and as I walked out to my car, I noticed a brand new dent and several scratches on my car. It took another several days for them to fix the damage to my car, and again I never received a call about whether my car was completed or not. I had to call them. After bringing my car home I waited about two weeks, at which time it rained for several days, I checked the spoiler, it had water in it again. I took the car in again and was once again told that I would be called regarding the status of my car. I waited over a week before calling to check on my car. I again spoke to Ken and was told he would check on it and call me within one hour. He called back around 7PM and told me my car was ready and asked when I would be in. I told him I would be in first thing in the morning. I was there first thing in the morning and my car was driven up to me it was filthy!!!!! This dealer has lost not just my business, but that of my family and the business my company was going to give them. More

Customer service was excellent in regards to time taken to explain all aspects of my purchasing experience. Tobey went into all the new features and made sure he was available if I got home and had any questions. Technology has changed since 2007, so I appreciated the clear explanation. I would ( and often do) recommend Fords and certainly would encourage friends and family to make the trip to Mike Davidson. More
My entire experience with Mike Davidson Ford exceeded my expectations when I purchased a new Ford Taurus Limited on Tuesday, February 11, 2014. I found the exact car I wanted on your website which was very expectations when I purchased a new Ford Taurus Limited on Tuesday, February 11, 2014. I found the exact car I wanted on your website which was very user friendly. I phoned for an appointment and talked with Lee Brewer. He impressed me right from the start by being very friendly and helpful. He assured me he would not sell the car before I got there, and that he would have it ready for a test drive upon my arrival. Lee is a very good salesman. He knows how to mix small talk with his sales pitch in a very seemless and genuine way. And when we got down to the numbers, he was a good negotiator. He struck a good balance between keeping me happen while still doing a good job for the dealership. As a retired banker, I pretty much knew what the final number should, and I was completely satisfied with the results. The other two gentlemen who helped complete my transaction were also very helpful and informative. I am sorry that I misplaced their names. Another thing I was extremely happy about was to learn that Boyd Zimmer is with the service department at Mike Davidson Ford. I met Boyd when I bought my first new Ford Taurus in 1989. They don't come any better than Boyd. I will defintely have my car serviced at Mike Davidson. Service after the sale is very important. Lee has checked with me a couple of times already to see if I had any questions or if there was anything he could do for me. He reminded me again about the classes each month that show new buyers how to operate all the technological features on the cars. He also invited me back to see him anytime I have a question on how to work something. That will definitely help. In summary, I will just say that I am totally satisfied with my new Taurus and very pleased to have had such a pleasant sales experience with Lee Brewer and the entire team at Mike Davidson Ford. More
