At the end of May, we bought our first Honda in over 25 years from Coggin Honda of St. Augustine. Aaron Nims helped us identify the vehicle we needed, then proceeded to get the model in hand to fill out n years from Coggin Honda of St. Augustine. After meeting our transportation requirements, there was one major requirement that had to be met: it must fit in our garage! The first model which seemed to meet our needs was the Ridgeline; it had the capacity and AWD we wanted and it drove nicely. As part of our "final" test drive we took it home for the garage test -- just a bit too long -- would not fit. By now Aaron had a good idea of what we were looking for and he suggested the Honda Passport. After reviewing the specs, we took one out for a drive -- comfortable, nice ride and good road handling. Aaron had a deal cooking, but the new models were just too expensive. Aaron knew that one of his lease customers had a 2020 model that would probably work for us, so he was able to work a deal to trade-up his existing lease customer and put us in a very nice 2020 AWD Passport. There was only one problem with the 2020 model -- it did not have a trailer hitch, but Aaron had already included the installation of the hitch and wiring harness in the deal! Like so many things today, there was a delay in getting the wiring harness for the hitch - it took almost 30 days to receive. Aaron let me know when all of the parts were in hand and coordinated to schedule getting them installed -- he also had a loaner car for me when I dropped of the Passport. Aaron worked hard to put our deal together and to ensure that we were satisfied with our car and the deal. He is a man of his word and kept us informed of the status of our hitch installation! When I mentioned that the owners manual was not in the car, he ordered a new manual and called me when it arrived. This is probably the 20th vehicle I've bought and I would recommend to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle to check out Coggin Honda and ask for Aaron Sims.
