Dear Gary, We realize you're disappointed that you were unable to remove the watermarks on the vehicle yourself. Unfortunately, this does not affect GM certificaton, as was determined by the GM rep. Having exhausted all other efforts to resolve this situation, we in good faith, purchased back the vehcle from you in full, minus a small usage fee to cover the 2 months you owned the vehicle. Dear Zachary, We are sorry to hear that you were not pleased with your purchase experience with our dealership. Upon reviewing your concerns, we discovered that in fact, an oil change was not performed on the vehicle you purchased. Although the color of the oil is not an indicator as to the age of the oil, it is our policy to routinely change the oil on all traded vehicles, and it should have been done. We apologize and are providing you with a free oil change, at your convenience. You will be receiving a Oil Change Certificate shortly. You indicated that we gave you a great price on the vehicle you purchased from us, but were disturbed by the listing price of your trade. As you may already be aware, a dealership incurs multiple liabilities and expenses to certify and market a used vehicle for resale, and therefore these expenses must be incorporated into the listing price of the vehicle. I am sure you understand that in many cases, the listing price is not necessarily the actual selling price. The person notifying you of your Motor Vehicle plates would not ordinarily be aware that you are located 40 minutes away, however in this instance, we may have been able to make and exception by taking your credit card information over the phone, and mailing your Motor Vehicle paperwork to you. It is not our regular practice to mail these documents because the risk of them getting lost is real and has happened in the past. These extra charges were from the Division of Motor Vehicles and not from our dealership. Since there was a balance due, you were not charged enough for your Motor Vehicle at the time of the sale. We hope that this information has helped to alleviate your concerns. If there is anything else we can do to resolve your dissatisfaction, please feel free to contact us at 609-805-8000, ext. 103.
