Chimgee Shatar in the Internet Sales Department sold us our new Lexus 450 RXH. She is excellent! She did a great job explaining the features on the car and found us the car with the interior, exterior an our new Lexus 450 RXH. She is excellent! This is the third new Lexus vehicle we have purchased but the first time we have purchased from this dealership. Chimgee made this the easiest vehicle purchase ever. She had the deal done by phone before the car even arrived. We just had to go to the dealership to pick up the car. Everything we discussed ahead of time in our deal, the price, options, all the details were exact. HEALTH WARNING – Last week I took my car to Lexus of Oakland for service and they disinfected the interior of my car with 5 to 6 seconds of a heavy-duty electrostat – Last week I took my car to Lexus of Oakland for service and they disinfected the interior of my car with 5 to 6 seconds of a heavy-duty electrostatic spray. They neither asked for my permission nor gave me any notice ahead of time. When I asked what it was, I was told it was just disinfectant, but when I opened the door to check I was overwhelmed by the fumes and became violently ill after returning home. I have emailed the general manager three times over the past five days, explained what happened and asked for the name of the product they are using, but they have failed to respond. I just want to warn everybody that I’m concerned Lexus of Oakland is using a potentially toxic product inside everyone’s vehicles, that has not been approved by the EPA for use with COVID-19 and that whatever it is may be causing harm. More

"The Best Dealership Experience With Chimgee" Came to Coliseum Lexus of Oakland to get a new car with absolutely no information on how all the process works and met Chimgee. DO NOtTAKE YOUR CAR FOR REPAIR HERE!!! Horrrible horrible horrible. I am in process of suing Coliseum Lexuz and reporting to CA Buteau of Automotive Repai for investigation. Damaged my car. Horrrible horrible horrible. I am in process of suing Coliseum Lexuz and reporting to CA Buteau of Automotive Repai for investigation. Damaged my car. Lied about needed repairs I did not need. I took my car their as check engine light on and.car burning gas and not riding right. I paid $1800 for an alternator and tuneup I did not need. Told I needed catalytic converters which I do not need. Told evap hose kept popping off and was changed.. My car was hit by their delivery truck and taken to a body shop off site without telling me. No documents or pics taken by Lexus. Kept my car for almost 2 months. When I finally picked it up the same day I discovered trunk would not latch. Also white hard film on headlights. I asked what film was and Chris took pics and told me to take car home and he would call me which he never did do. Trunk cord broken and Lexus insisted I pay $200 although it was broken when they had my car. Lost my car key and wanted me to pay for it. I spoke to Dan GM and told my car is old and having problems. Headlights cannot be restored and told by pro that film is not natural. I called Abe and he said Lexus is not responsible. My check engine light came back on within 2 wks and same problems as before. My car the correctly repaired by honest mechanic and evap hose bent like a V and evap cord changed. Car rides fine now and check engine light remains off. More
