I started talking to Xenia online when I was looking for a specific 2013 Santa Fe. I gave her the quote I got from a different dealer and she was able to give me a better deal. Upon arrival David was super friendly and inviting. Before even discussing pricing, David let me test drive two Hyundai Elantras with different trims. Afterwards, David was open to answering the hundreds of questions I threw at him and was very understanding and willing to work with me as a first time car buyer. I wasn't ready to get the car on my first visit because I wanted to continue to explore other options. Throughout the following week I dealt with several other dealers in the area only to find that customer service was poor and most of their online prices were false because they didn't include hidden fees or included incentives that I did not qualify for. Most of all, it didn't seem like any of the other dealers were honest or had my best interest in mind. Towards the end of the week when I started to feel discouraged, I received a call from David offering me a price that I couldn't resist and I went in to make the deal. Again, David Lee is great! He definitely went above and beyond to work with me and make sure I was happy. Since my purchase, he's even made a few follow up calls just to make sure I like the car and everything is okay. Hence, I did extensive research on the various dealership in MD and visited most of them. I even went to Delaware and Virginia on few occasions to meet up with car dealers to discuss my interest in their various cars. However, I still found myself wanting in that I felt that most dealers were still hiding something a native individual like myself could not accurately pinpoint on. The description of their cars were vaguely clear, and not to mention their pricing was beyond comprehendible. I therefore went back to my traditional way of searching-- and that is looking up cars by owners on craigslist. But then, I noticed all those cars did not have any carfax reports and their pricing was not in my budget. And like my previous encounters with dealers, individual owners could not accurately describe what their car entails. All hope was lost till I met David Lee on March 30, 2013 at college park Hyundai. David Lee is a dealer with patience, very likable and very articulate. First and foremost, He allowed me to test drive the 2011 Honda Accord SE-- which I ended up purchasing--- as long as I could. The reason being he wanted to make sure I was fully comfortable with the car before any further discussions begins. I remembered asking him about the price of the car as soon as I walked into the Collegepark Hyundai office and he responded " Test drive the car to make sure you like the car before we even talk about the price". Right there and then, I knew I have met a dealer who cares little about the pricing but more so about his customers. Additionally, David explained all the various features of the cars and what the car entails including the limited warrantee provided by College Park Hyundai. For the first time in a long time, I did not sense any discrete information being withheld from me unlike previous dealers. There is no doubt in my mind that David was on my side during price negotiations. He related to me in a way that I could not establish with other dealers. Overall, I relatively had a decent price for my Honda Accord and most importantly, I enjoyed the customer service experience at College park Hyundai---as a result of my interaction with David Lee. The reason I gave the rating is base on the excellent customer services I received from Sharon in the services department. Every time I have made contact with College park Hyundai Ms. Sharon was able to customer services I received from Sharon in the services department. Every time I have made contact with College park Hyundai Ms. Sharon was able to get my car in, Ms. Sharon is very knowledgeable about the problem my car was having as well as explaining what needed to be done and why. She was very prompt on calling me to let me know that status of my car and when it was ready. One day I was running late and she stayed until I was able to get there after hours. Wow! that above and beyond. Most dealership have a bad reputation on selling services that are not necessary. I did not feel that way working with Ms.Sharon. Very polite and friendly. Always greeted me with a smile. Ms. Sharon always went over the paper work with me and broke it down so that I could understand what was done. Very courteous services working with college park Hyundai. Before I stop at College Park Hyundai I use to travel to Catonsville, Maryland for my services, I have changed to college park. Not only have I changed but my daughters and father now come to college park Hyundai because of me. Mr. kess said that he picked out the black one that had just came in and that to trust him once more that i would fall in love wih it just take a look at it and if i didnt like it he will get the one I asked for. it waas like he was in my head cause when i Saw the car i was blown away and said I wnted the black one. I didn't even set a foot in the dealer since I didn't want to waste my time with a possible bait-and-switch.
