100% Honest Advertising and Exeptional Customer Service My wife and I searched Cars.com for deals on a new 2015 Hyundai Sonata. College Park Honda was advertising an internet special price that was way, way My wife and I searched Cars.com for deals on a new 2015 Hyundai Sonata. College Park Honda was advertising an internet special price that was way, way below the MSRP (and several thousand dollars below the advertised discounts offered by every other dealership in a 150 mile radius of where we live). Being an extremely skeptical person, I doubted College Park Honda would honor their advertised price. Since we live an hour south of Washington, DC along I-95 and 90 minutes from College Park, MD, we did not want to drive up there only to learn that the advertised deal was some kind of scheme designed to lure people into the dealership. I assumed the price included many dealer incentives for which they would eventually disqualify me. But the advertised price was too low to simply ignore; so I called College Park Honda and ended up speaking with David Lee. I had a very lengthy phone conversation with Mr. Lee. Time and again, he met my skepticism with graciousness and patience. He assured me that the advertised price was genuine. I did not believe him. I asked to verify what he was telling me with his manager. He connected me with Mr. Lonnell Bond. Mr. Bond backed up everything Mr. Lee had told me. After our conversation, I was still skeptical; so I called my local dealership, provided them a link to the advertised special, and invited them to meet or beat the advertised price. They replied, "It is impossible. And if you drive all the way up there, you will find that they won't give you that price because it is several thousand dollars below what anyone can afford to sell the car for. You will end up paying more." I told them I could not afford to take the chance that the deal was *not* genuine; so my wife and I made the long drive. I am *so* glad we made that decision because everything Mr. Lee and Mr. Bond told us was honored. I cannot praise David Lee (davidlee@cpautos.com) or his manager, Lonnell Bond (lonnellbond@cpautos.com) highly enough. They were 100% solid in what they told us with no schemes, tricks or evasiveness. If you are looking for an honest dealership where what is told you is honored, look no further than College Park Hyundai and David Lee and Lonnell Bond. Finally, Mr. Lee was very patient with us as we vacillated between two different colors of the car. His customer service "Will Do" attitude was exceptional. Thank you, Mr. Lee! College Park was able to help us get out that terrible deal into a great deal with everyone leaving more than satisfied. It was a transparent deal with everything explained and no pressure. College Park is concerned with maximizing customer satisfaction which they indeed accomplished. It was through the superior experience in the service department that made us come to sales to see if they could help us get out of the horrible deal. We Met Charles there the first night. He might be the friendliest salesman I have ever met, and not in the uncomfortable way some sales people make you feel either. We drove the car and decided we were interested. When we got back we talked to Charles about the purchase price (which was higher at the dealership than it was advertised online); he changed that for us. My wife and I decided what we wanted to pay per month and I texted that amount to Charles. He set that up for us, no hassle. We bought it, great deal!! After having the car for a few days a dash light came on, I let Charles know and it was fixed immediately. It was a great, and easy, experience. If you are looking for a car, stop here first and talk to Charles!! More
