Sucker, fraudulent and should be illegal I went down to colley Ford to trade in a Toyota Truck and I went from dealing with one person and getting passed around to 3 other guys. I was fully I went down to colley Ford to trade in a Toyota Truck and I went from dealing with one person and getting passed around to 3 other guys. I was fully honest with what car I liked, how much I want to spend a month and the manager walked up to me and said he is willing to do what ever it takes to make a deal. I went for a test drive with Tim White and the entire ride he is telling me how $22,000 is a killer deal and how his friend called to but this exact car. After being at the dealer for over 2 hours and being completely honest with them they run my credit and say the car payment is more than my budget. I fully understood. So I said what if I buy the car out right with no trade in ? They say put it in your wife’s name and you have a deal. My wife scrambles the family in the car, answeres all Tims questions on her way to come sign including her social and Driver license. While we are waiting for my family to come and sign for the car the new manager who clearly is the biggest sucker and started this entire transaction says we made a mistake and the car you test drive and we have been running numbers on is $27,000. How can we be doing a deal on the wrong car for over 2 hours? I do not recommend Collet ford to my worst enemy and I wouldn’t step foot back in that lot. Not to mention they have tried to fix my Ford F-150 \twice and after 90dats they still cannot find out what’s wrong. So not only is the Sales area horrible but service is worse. This is fraud and should be illegal to tell someone how much a car is so they can run your credit but I am 100% sure that Tim and the new manager would be agree because they couldn’t even get the price of my car straight. There are no words to describe the horror doing business with Colley has turned out to be. They abused ME then threw me out of their dealership, after I spent 80K leasing. To treat a senior woman like dirt is reprehensible. My family has owned no less than 30 Fords over the years, and I'm seriously thinking of making my next purchase a Chevy. More
A one only because there is no ZERO I just celebrated the 32nd anniversary of my 29th birthday and this is perhaps (strike that), this is the worst service experience I have EVER had. A I just celebrated the 32nd anniversary of my 29th birthday and this is perhaps (strike that), this is the worst service experience I have EVER had. Any industry, any company, any service provider. Background: I have a 2009 Ford Edge that has been dealer serviced since purchase. With 230K miles, that is over thirty (30) service visits. Ford of Rancho Santa Margarita, Upland, Modesto and Price Ford in Turlock. I returned to Southern California recently and on a recommendation from a trusted friend, decided to use Colley. I went there for a regular service and they identified my battery was failing. If true, that is battery number 5. I returned on 18 June 2018, to have the battery checked (and ultimately replaced when they again said they can find no reason for the excessive failures) and to follow-up on a voicemail I had left days before that had gone unreturned. In my initial call, I inquired about the recall (airbag) status as well as the rental car option that my car is impacted by. I spoke with a Service Advisor ( a name I don’t recall but know I had written down somewhere) who assured me he would talk with his Service Director and one of them would call me back to provide that update. Even though Lee Cook (Service Director) had an individual in the office at the time I arrived, he invited me in. I began to recount my experience. After listening for a while, Lee interrupted and said something to the fact that if this is the way our first meeting is going, I should find another dealership for my service needs. He said he did not like me “accusing” his Service Writer and himself. Accusing of what? I was simply recounting my experience. At that point, I made it very clear that I did not accuse anyone of anything and he (Lee) was the first (AND only) person to use that word. Lee did eventually come out and try to engage me in conversation. He began to denigrate the rental car option and the company (Enterprise) used as the provider as well as Ford’s offer to reimburse to only $30 per day. I contacted Ford and found most (if not all) of his information was incorrect. A left a voicemail informing him of same and received an email response that showed he did not care. I sent a letter to Ford that factually recounted my experience with Colley and as a courtesy copied CJ Colley. It is a good thing I did not require a response…………..because I did not get one from CJ. Talk about professionalism at its finest. They say “the fish stinks from the head down”. It is clear Service Director is a title given from above as Lee has no idea what service means as it relates to my dealings with him. More

Friendly but Sneaky Friendly staff, but very sneaky. Will try anything to have your new purchase financed through them. I went in with a pre-approved letter from credit u Friendly staff, but very sneaky. Will try anything to have your new purchase financed through them. I went in with a pre-approved letter from credit union (1.99% interest rate). was told they still had to run my credit report, was just a formality. Now, 4 weeks later, I've received at least 8 letters from different banks, notifying me that they couldn't approve my loan application to purchase vehicle. When I contacted dealer, to let them know how upset I was, they said there was nothing they could do. I never gave them permission to do this & now I have several inquiries on my credit report, which lowers my credit score. Do not recommend them if you're going in with a pre-approved loan. More

When I talked with Ismael Gonzales, the internet Salesmen I worked with he understood that clearly. I went to the dealer on Saturday to check out the vehicle, I knew exactly what I wanted and was there for about an hour and a half.
