Service seemed to fix my Jeep's suspension issue, however they refused to help with the corrosion warranty and offered no solution. I had to contact Jeep Smiles to find a dealer that would help. I brought my car in for a diagnostic appointment on Monday February 16, it wasn’t diagnosed until that Tuesday afternoon. I believed there was a problem with the transmission and there is. It needs a n Monday February 16, it wasn’t diagnosed until that Tuesday afternoon. I believed there was a problem with the transmission and there is. It needs a new valve body. They did not have the part and said it would need to be ordered. It was ordered with no delivery date given. I needed my car back on Thursday, February 19 and they did not have a replacement or vehicle for me to use so they told me to take my car back and drive it. It would be fine according to them. I called yesterday, March 4, and was told the dealership had been sold, and they would not be getting the part through colonial any longer would have to re-order it and that would perhaps happen Friday, March 6. When I asked if it was safe to drive my car and that it wouldn’t cause any further damage to the transmission, I was told by the service manager, Bob that it should be fine and not to worry. I have been driving my car since and I have to stop at one or two times because it won’t shift from 3rd to 4th and reset the transmission to try to continue on my way home. I am very disappointed that I do not have a loaner vehicle to drive while mine waits for the part and that the part has no delivery date. I am fearful that every day I drive it. I am causing more damage to the transmission. I would like some assurances that this part will be delivered quickly. My car can be repaired quickly and that I can have a loaner while all of this is happening. This is why I gave the ratings. I did not to mention the lack of communication I received about any of this. I had to call and ask what was the status of my vehicle when it was being diagnosed. I had to call yesterday, March 4 to find out the status of the part. Communication needs to be better. Service needs to be better. More
