Great Car Buying Experience! After being disappointed by the lack of knowledge and lack of enthusiasm at three dealerships on Long Island, I found the exact car I wanted on the To After being disappointed by the lack of knowledge and lack of enthusiasm at three dealerships on Long Island, I found the exact car I wanted on the Toyota.com website. I called to find out what dealership had the car. It was at Colonial Toyota in Milford, CT. But I live on Long Island. That's over 100 miles, or a ferry ride away. I called Colonial and got Shawn Ruff on the phone. He told me to hop on the ferry and he'd pick me up in Bridgeport and drive me to the dealership! He walked me through the paperwork and got me the documents I needed for the bank and my insurance company. He also got me a great price! I took the ferry, he picked me up and I drove away with the car I wanted, got on the ferry and drove the short way home. It was a totally painless experience. I can't recommend Shawn and Colonial enough. Thanks guys!! More

I was there with my disabled mother and also had a unique situation to consider and instead of rushing us to make a sale, he was with us for SIX HOURS to help me make the perfect decision. Additionally, Colonial Toyota was hands down the cleanest dealership I have been to. Every single person there greets you with a smile and is so nice. Ed’s brother Danny from management was the first person to greet my mother and I as well. I can’t say enough fantastic things about him as a manager either.
