My best car buying experience, ever. Nick and Erica made what is usually an unpleasant task (having to buy a replacement vehicle), the most pleasant experience I've had yet. They were professional, yet so friendly I felt like it was family. There was no pressure and they were just really nice authentic people that listened. Michael did a fantastic job of teaching me about all the new gadgets. I did not get the opportunity to meet the owner, but kudos to him, because there is no way to have such great and dedicated employees without a great example from top management down. At 9:30 and we were asked if we needed a salesman, a few minutes later Walter introduced himself and we explained what we were looking for. Walter was very helpful with a "no pressure" personality and was "very" friendly and "very" easy to talk to. We went for a test drive, got back to the dealership, he worked up the numbers with trading in a 06 Jetta and my daughter was very pleased with her payment. We purchased the vehicle with only going "shopping" for a car! Erica in finance was also a pleasure to work with, she explained everything and communicated well to my daughter reviewing the contract. You have a GREAT TEAM with Walter and Erica at Colonial VW and I would highly recommend both to my family and friends that are looking for either a Volkswagen or Subaru! No follow through at all. First I must say the Shawn was extremely helpful getting me into the car. My problems are not with Shawn at all. Should he ever move to another deal First I must say the Shawn was extremely helpful getting me into the car. My problems are not with Shawn at all. Should he ever move to another dealership I'd happily follow him there. But after the zero communication responses from the dealership I'll never darken their doors again. I purchased an 06 RAV4 and have had the following thoughts. These were reported to the dealership directly and NEVER got a response. The RAV4 is in pretty bad shape. I’ve looked at the CarFax repair records and find the many of the issues I currently have were also noted prior to my purchase from your dealership. I’ll list them here: • Engine trouble lights – On my way home from the dealership the engine lights came on then went back off after a few miles of driving. This seemed to be ok until the last 6 to 8 months and now they stay on constantly. • The exhaust system needs replacement so I’m not even driving the RAV4 at this time. There is a leak or serious rattle in the system so I’ll have to take the thing into a shop for repair before I can either drive or even trade. o I checked this on the CarFax and found this issue noted prior to my purchase. • Wheel covers not installed properly. o At the time of purchase I noted the wheel covers rattled and Shawn and the service manager were going to order new or replacement wheel covers. This never happened even after I contacted both for this. I finally gave up and just tried a fix for myself that has not held. These should have been fix prior to me taking delivery, but again nope • There is an odd odor that my fiance notices (I no longer smell it) but was there when I took delivery. I thought it would dissipate during use but actually it has gotten worse. I think this is related to the exhaust problems So after all these issues in combination with the fact that I owe 8000.00 (aprox) on an 11 year old car… I doubt very seriously I’ll be returning to Colonial for a future purchase. Now should you guys like to assist me in these repairs I might reconsider. This is really unfortunate because Shawn was VERY helpful getting me into this car. But I have developed a feeling of distrust with the leadership of the dealership over the past couple years. And that is unfortunate. Erin (my fiancé) is about ready for a new car and would like a Subaru and I would like to replace the RAV4 with a newer Volkswagen CC or EOS. And a dealership selling both of those would be a very convenient solution for us. Have a good day More
