The service I requested was not covered by the factory maintenance program. At the time I made the appointment, the service advisor made sure I understood that. (I did, but appreciated their approach to maintenance program. At the time I made the appointment, the service advisor made sure I understood that. (I did, but appreciated their approach to make sure there were not surprises.) At the end, the service was completed before the quoted time, and the price was below the quoted price. The waiting area was very nice. I felt this was a service experience of a premium automobile brand, not a mainstream brand. I was very pleased. Austin was very professional. More

First experience with Columbia, terrible service. I brought car in for repair at 9:30am as directed. I offered to NOT take a loaner since they were low on cars. NO communication throughout the day until I called late afternoon several times only to find out that they couldn't even look at my car that day, too busy. It would be the second car to get worked on the next day. I came and got a loaner at that point. The next day, no communication once again. By 4:00pm I finally called to find out the status. They supposedly had just taken the car back for inspection. I called back later to find out if and when it would be fixed only to be told that they could not, after 5:00 pm. I wasted two days. I just took the car in to Jeff Wyler Superior Hyundai this morning, planning to take a loaner. Instead they told me to wait around for 40 minutes and fixed the problem on the spot. No hassles, exceeded my expectations. I was also disappointed with the communication system itself. For all the multiple times I called, I received only a recording and left messages. Some were ignored, some took forever to get a call back. From a customer service point of view, it would be nice to talk to a human. My dilemma now is, next time I need service, do I take it back to Columbia only 1.5 miles from home (could walk on a nice day), or drive 20 minutes to Jeff Wyler Superior Hyundai where I can get reliable service? After this experience, I think I prefer the reliability more than the convenience. Thanks for allowing me to vent. Hopefully this will be helpful to you moving forward. More
