Rediculous quote I was quoted $1300 to fix my heater. I told them I needed to think about it. I went home that night to research the issues that they found. I was told I was quoted $1300 to fix my heater. I told them I needed to think about it. I went home that night to research the issues that they found. I was told that 2 components had failed. I found a walk through on YouTube so decided to attempt the repair myself before spending the big money. Much to my surprise, there was only 1 defective piece and it only took me 1.5 hours to repair. I am very inexperienced working on vehicles and spent $25 dollars on tools and $25 on the part. I fully understand that they have a markup, but even if they charge $100 an hour and 100% markup! this repair should have been quoted around $300. This was my only experience with this dealership, but I don't see myself returning. I was contemplating trading in and purchasing a new vehicle, but I will not give this dealership the opportunity. There is plenty of competition around. Everybody I spoke with on the phone and in person was great. I just feel they saw me coming from a mile away and tried to take advantage of a customer. More
